christi, our Father is a God of new beginnings…of fresh starts…He has unconditional love for us…we know that N-O-T-H-I-N-G can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord…He forgave mankind through the sacrifice of His only Son…and continually cleanses us from our current sins as we seek His forgiveness. oh, couldn't we go on&on shouting our praises of our awesome God and Lord? (maybe we should?!?) just wanted to send you a little love&encouragment. You are His. Gary has chosen you as his wife. He loves you, accepts you, forgives you…and, i'm sure, will allow you this do-over. praising God for His blessing in your marriage! oh, and thanks for being real. <3
Thank goodness for new beginnings huh??? 🙂
Sometimes we even need a do-over for the do-over which is OK God will forgive us every time when we ask….it s great to have our relationship so close to God that he helps us to "see" we didn't do something right in our day or week with our hubby…so let's get it resolved and do as He instructs fulfill our man…..remember when we honor him then we honor HIM…
I'm so thankful for a Lord, and a husband, who is so forgiving and loving! My husband is a great guy!
This week was just a week that goes to show that we ALL can have a bad week! 🙂
Last night as I was talking to my oldest daughter about my resolution of making supper for my husband, I was reminded of the illustration of the large jar filled with rocks, gravel, sand and water…I realized that the things that my husband asks me to do for him, need to be the big things I put in my jar…things that I put in my jar first, because if I wait till the end of the day, or when I finally get around to doing it, most likely, I'm not going to even fill like doing it…it might not even get done…my jar is already too full of other stuff! He needs to be my biggest priority! That is how he feels my love! It's no wonder God compares our relationship with Him to our relationship in marriage…He wants us to put Him first, and so in our family relationship, we as wives need to make our husbands feel that they are our first priority! It seems I am just now getting this and I've been married nearly my whole life! 😀 Thankfully he has given me much grace, and I am gracious to him in return! Thank you Lord for do overs!
Our hubbies do so much for us. It is only fair for us to treat them as special as we can!! 🙂 I'm glad you have such an amazing hubby!! Be sure to tell him just how special he is! 😉
I am blessed to have a wonderful husband as well. I know I am blessed because so many other women might not have this opportunity. I am still reading Resolutions for Women and have learned so much and strengthened my faith. My relationship with my husband has been blessed as well. So glad that I found this site.
Thank you Carol. We are glad you found us, as well. I pray the Lord will continue to bless your marriage, in Jesus' name! 🙂
