Each Saturday in our current series, Seeking Him<\/b><\/i>, we have been looking in-depth at some important aspects of having a dedicated, purposeful, intentional, devoted quiet time. This week we are continuing to look at the joy and privilege of our relationship with our heavenly Father\u2014our quiet time alone with Him. And talking about love<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Perhaps I am thinking about the love<\/span> part \u2018cause we have just celebrated the love holiday\u2014Valentine\u2019s Day.\u00a0 Or perhaps I am thinking about the love part due to currently reading Crazy Love by Pastor Francis Chan.\u00a0 (Have you read it?\u00a0 I do know a few of you who are studying\/discussing this incredibly convicting book.)\u00a0 I am sure that both of those have greatly influenced my thinking.\u00a0 But perhaps the most compelling motivation has been my consideration and meditation of something that Jesus said:<\/p>\n

LOVE\u00a0 the Lord your God with all<\/b> your heart,
\nwith all<\/b> your soul,
\nwith all<\/b> your strength,
\nand with all<\/b> your mind
\nLuke 10:27<\/p>\n

I have been thinking about this for a couple of weeks now.\u00a0 “Love<\/span> the Lord your God with ALL….”\u00a0 That is what Jesus said, right?\u00a0 “…ALL<\/strong>?”\u00a0 All means entirely, completely, wholly, vital, foundational, necessary, everything.<\/p>\n

My friend, I could not even begin to tell you what loving God with all<\/strong> your heart, soul, strength, and mind<\/em><\/span> looks like in your quiet time.\u00a0 Really, how could I?\u00a0 But I do know Who can!\u00a0 May I strongly suggest that you express your desire to your Lord to do just that\u2014love<\/span>. with. all<\/strong>. heart. soul. strength. mind. And just watch and see where the holy spirit leads you.\u00a0 Praying for you that your heart will be thrilled and joyful as you love<\/span> Him with your all<\/strong><\/em>!<\/p>\n
