So I don\u2019t know about you, but I\u2019m a big-time people pleaser.\u00a0 I\u2019ll say \u201cyes\u201d to invitations that I know full well I will not attend just to avoid disappointing someone by saying \u201cno, thanks.\u201d\u00a0 I want friends. I want love. I want peace.\u00a0 I want to be liked.\u00a0 I want to be accepted.<\/p>\n
See, I can try to \u201cpeople-please\u201d all I want, but the fact is, I\u2019ll always be hated.\u00a0 And I\u2019m not talking about by people (though that would be true, too).\u00a0 I will always be hated by the one who hates God, even the slightest hint of Him.\u00a0 I\u2019m talking about our greatest enemy, Satan.<\/p>\n
He absolutely despises me! And he hates you, too! Yep, I said it—HATE. \u00a0That\u2019s a powerful word.\u00a0 And the evil one has his reasons.\u00a0 We, as women, have something that he loved and then lost because he fell from God.\u00a0 We are beautiful, and we give life\u2026very much like the image of God. \u00a0And how does Satan compare to you and me? \u00a0He is straight-up UGLY, and he is the definition of DEATH.<\/p>\n
I want you\u00a0all to\u00a0do something for me right now.\u00a0 Just hold your pointer finger up in the air. All right, now stand it up tall, and get it as close to God as you can.\u00a0 Your finger, right now, represents your light.\u00a0 It\u2019s the light the world sees when there exists nothing but darkness. \u00a0It\u2019s the light a stranger sees when you help someone in need, when you look someone in the eye, when you speak words of truth and life, when you exchange a smile or offer an encouraging word.\u00a0 Do you all know the children\u2019s song \u201cThis Little Light of Mine\u201d? Don\u2019t believe the evil one.\u00a0 He has many, many lies for you.\u00a0 Lies that you\u2019re too much, too flawed, too complicated, too emotional, too confusing, too unworthy, too boring, too crazy, too damaged, too too too too too too!<\/p>\n Guess what?!\u00a0 Satan is TOO<\/strong> powerless against us.\u00a0 He feeds us lies through our culture, our men, our own thoughts about ourselves, and our own situations.\u00a0 He instills the fear of abandonment in us, a lie from the bowels of Hell.\u00a0 How can we ever be abandoned when God is always with us?<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Satan is fighting a losing battle. \u00a0We have won, and we are crowned princesses of the Most High. Hallelujah!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cO DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY?
