{"id":7612,"date":"2013-01-18T00:01:25","date_gmt":"2013-01-18T05:01:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/?p=7612"},"modified":"2013-01-18T00:02:01","modified_gmt":"2013-01-18T05:02:01","slug":"captivating-weekly-review-chapter-2-what-eve-alone-can-tell","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/wordpress\/2013\/01\/18\/captivating-weekly-review-chapter-2-what-eve-alone-can-tell\/","title":{"rendered":"Captivating: Weekly Review &#8211; Chapter 2 &#8211; What Eve Alone Can Tell"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><em>Weekly Review &#8211; Chapter 2\u00a0<\/em><\/h2>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 13px;line-height: 19px\">Monday<\/strong>, Jackie took us back to the beginning of Creation! \u00a0Wow, the way she described this in her blog was simply beautiful!! \u00a0All this beauty was created as a place where God\u2019s own image would dwell.\u00a0 This would be the home of Adam and Eve. \u00a0The beauty of all the trees, birds, flowers, rivers, and such; and then God added two more things: \u00a0man and woman. \u00a0Jackie reminded us that the creation of Adam was different to the way God made the world.\u00a0 He said the Word and it came into being but with Adam, He formed him from the dust of the ground and then <em style=\"font-size: 13px;line-height: 19px\"><strong>breathed life<\/strong><\/em> into him.\u00a0 How awesome this is to <em style=\"font-size: 13px;line-height: 19px\"><strong>know that we were created differently than everything else and that we bear the image of God<\/strong><\/em>. \u00a0And when God created woman&#8230;WOW! \u00a0She is so perfect.\u00a0 This first\u00a0<strong style=\"font-size: 13px;line-height: 19px\">WOMAN<\/strong>! So beautiful, with flawless skin, long hair, the eyes, when she first set them on Adam. Talk about her body, her arms and legs\u2026. \u00a0<em style=\"font-size: 13px;line-height: 19px\"><strong>A beauty to behold<\/strong><\/em>! \u00a0Jackie closes her blog with this reminder: \u00a0&#8220;Dear girlfriend, <em style=\"font-size: 13px;line-height: 19px\"><strong>you are Eve<\/strong><\/em>, the crown of creation.\u00a0 It\u2019s no wonder you feel the way you do, the way you long to be the beauty or the princess in your story.\u00a0 I pray that you will allow the Lord to restore what has been lost so that you can take your rightful place.&#8221;\u00a0\u00a0What a beautiful reminder!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday<\/strong>, Tonya reminded us that God is relational. \u00a0<b style=\"font-size: 13px;line-height: 19px\">God is relational. So are we. \u00a0<\/b><b style=\"font-size: 13px;line-height: 19px\">God has a heart for romance. So do we. \u00a0<\/b><b style=\"font-size: 13px;line-height: 19px\">God has a desire for intimate relationships. So do we. \u00a0<\/b><b style=\"font-size: 13px;line-height: 19px\">God longs to love us. We long to love. \u00a0<\/b><b style=\"font-size: 13px;line-height: 19px\">God longs to be loved. We long to be loved. \u00a0<\/b>\u00a0It\u2019s time that we embrace the heart God placed in each and every woman. A heart that is created in the image of God&#8217;s heart. \u00a0We were designed in His image, this is why we are so in-tune with the relationships we keep. It\u2019s not a weakness. It is another part of our heart that is created after Gods.\u00a0God&#8217;s heart. Eve&#8217;s heart. Our heart. \u00a0\u00a0<b style=\"font-size: 13px;line-height: 19px\">There is one relationship that should be held higher than any other. \u00a0<\/b>She reminded us that our relationship with God should never take the back-burner! \u00a0It should always be <em><strong>the<\/strong><\/em> most important relationship we have.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday<\/strong>, Carissa reminded us that we can be someone\u2019s \u201cEzer\u201d with just a smile, a positive comment, a loving remark. \u00a0I have to constantly remind myself that every day! \u00a0God gives us the opportunity to be someone\u2019s Ezer with friends, co-workers, family, and even strangers. \u00a0You never know what just a little smile can do&#8212;you may have saved someone\u2019s life! And that\u2019s the beauty in you! That\u2019s you, acting in God\u2019s image, and loving a hurting world. \u00a0To be an everyday Ezer Kenegdos\u2026that\u2019s our mission! \u00a0She also reminded us that\u00a0<em><strong>We, as women, are beauty incarnate<\/strong><\/em>. \u00a0She closed her blog with this reminder: \u00a0<em><strong>You are beautiful. \u00a0You are created in the image of God. \u00a0You are essential. \u00a0You matter.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday,<\/strong> Michelle reminded us of our beauty; that\u00a0<em><strong>We are created in God\u2019s image<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 Think about that.\u00a0 Out of ALL the things that God created, everything, it is us that He decided to create in His image.\u00a0 What an amazing honor.\u00a0<em><strong>Jeremiah 29:13<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0it says, \u201c<em><strong>You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.<\/strong><\/em>\u201d He has confidence that if you truly get to know Him, you can\u2019t help\u00a0, but fall in love with who He is and want to make that relationship grow. \u00a0 She reminded us of how beautiful we are because we are created in His image. \u00a0She reminded us to treasure the beauty that God created, and ended her blog with this reminder:\u00a0<em><strong>There is a radiance in your heart that the world desperately needs.<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0 <em><strong>Shine bright, ladies!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Today<\/strong>, I would like to close with this. \u00a0You are a special unique creature. \u00a0God created YOU for His pleasure. \u00a0He created YOU just as you are&#8230;no more, no less. \u00a0You are beautiful. \u00a0There is no doubt about that! \u00a0He created YOU in His image! \u00a0 YOU are fearfully and wonderfully made! \u00a0You are exactly who God designed you to be. \u00a0Meditate on that! \u00a0Allow God to speak to your heart through this message this week! \u00a0Allow Him to show you the beauty that He created. \u00a0Allow Him to open your eyes to see the creation that He created! \u00a0Allow Him to teach you to LOVE this creation, just as you are!<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>I love you!
