Daughter&#8217;s Worth: Week 12 \/ Day 1 &#8211; Give Honor to God"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/2012\/12\/05\/winning-him-without-words-prepared-by-god-unanswered-prayers\/gch_eph2_10\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5534\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5534\" alt=\"GCH_Eph2_10\" src=\"http:\/\/69.89.31.171\/~girlfrk8\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/gch_eph2_10.jpg\" width=\"538\" height=\"357\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In order to give someone honor, don\u2019t you think you have to know that person or at least know what they have done in order to receive honor?\u00a0 God is more than just a \u201csomeone\u201d He is the Creator of the world we live in.\u00a0 <b>Without God there would be nothing<\/b>.\u00a0 If there were ever a time to give honor, God should be at the top of the list, don\u2019t ya think?<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\">Do you know who God is personally?\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>God created YOU for a purpose <b><i>(Ephesians 2:10 <\/i><\/b><b><i>For we are God&#8217;s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.)<\/i><\/b><\/li>\n<li>God loves YOU so much that He sent His only Son to die on a cross for our nasty sins that we continually commit <b><i>(John 3:16 <\/i><\/b><b><i>For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.)<\/i><\/b><\/li>\n<li>God is our help in times of trouble.\u00a0 He did not just create us to watch us suffer through this cruel world alone.\u00a0 He promises to be with us and to hold our hands and hearts and to help us in every struggle we face in this world.\u00a0 <b><i>(Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.)<\/i><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I honestly would love to just go on and on about how amazing God\u2019s love for us is.\u00a0 I would love to share with you every single thing that I possibly can to showcase God for who and what HE really is!\u00a0 There are no words this side of Heaven to be able to do this for you though.\u00a0 It is not enough to say He is good, He is amazing, and my words do not even come close to just how perfect God is.\u00a0 So, I am turning to the Bible for help!\u00a0 This scripture is one of my favorites; I can just close my eyes and picture God as my safe place, the Rock I run to when this world tries to bring me down.\u00a0 Psalms 62:7-8 My salvation and my honor depend on God ; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. {8} Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.\u00a0 Instead of me going on and on, why don\u2019t you think of some ways to describe who God is to you!\u00a0 Write them in your journal and thank Him for being who He is to us!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\">Let\u2019s read Revelation 4:9-11<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Whenever the living creatures (that\u2019s us!) give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever (that\u2019s God), the twenty-four elders <b>fall down before him who sits on the throne<\/b>, and worship him who lives for ever and ever.\u00a0 They lay their crowns before the throne and say:<\/p>\n<p><i>YOU ARE WORTHY OUR LORD AND GOD <\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>TO RECEIVE GLORY AND HONOR AND POWER<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>FOR YOU CREATED ALL THINGS <\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>AND BY YOUR WILL THEY WERE CREATED<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>AND HAVE THEIR BEING<\/i><\/p>\n<p>The first time I read that I cried.\u00a0 Really think about this for a moment.\u00a0 Every single time we thank God for our many blessings HE gives us, or give Him the glory for something amazing that happened in our lives, or honor His name in everything we do: 24 elders fall to their knees in worship to God!\u00a0 How utterly amazing is that?\u00a0 Close your eyes\u2026.picture this!\u00a0 I don\u2019t know about you, but I want this to happen all day long for God.\u00a0 I never want there to be a time when those elders are not on their knees singing praises to God!<\/p>\n<p>Let our hearts desires be the same as those elders in Heaven.\u00a0 Let us strive to not go ONE moment without remembering our GOD in praises, worship, prayers of thanksgiving, and HONOR.\u00a0 For when we do this we will be reminded that God is getting all of those praises in Heaven!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Let\u2019s Pray:\u00a0<\/strong> Lord, I thank You so much that Your love and Your very being are indescribable.\u00a0 I pray that we all are able to find out who You are personally for us.\u00a0 I pray that each girl set their heart\u2019s desire to give You honor and understand just why we are to give YOU honor.\u00a0 Today and always Lord, I give You honor because You are my Savior.\u00a0 You have blessed me and saved me from a life of misery and You have given me hope!\u00a0 Much love to YOU!\u00a0 I picture the praises in Heaven and they motivate me to keep on giving You all of my honor and glory that You so perfectly deserve!\u00a0 I love You so much!\u00a0 Amen.<\/p>\n<p><em>Let&#8217;s all think of ways we can HONOR our KING in HEAVEN today and us:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Lord Jesus, I come to You today and ask You to be my Lord and Savior. \u00a0I have learned who You are through this bible study Lord, and I want to know You personally. \u00a0So today, Lord, I confess the sins that I have in my heart, and I ask You to forgive me and cleanse me of all unrighteousness. \u00a0I ask You now to come into my life, as my personal Lord and
