\u00a0Were you able to make some changes in your life, or at least see some areas where changes are needed? \u00a0I know I did! \u00a0I saw a few things!<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>Our Memory Verse of the week: \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>1 Timothy 6:6 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Monday<\/strong> we talked about making &#8220;every bite count&#8221; and enjoying your life where you are <em>right now<\/em>! \u00a0Taking the time to smell the coffee, and enjoying what God has given you; scraping up every last crumb of that amazing dessert! \u00a0No matter what age you are, there is still time to start enjoying your life TODAY! \u00a0Resolve to make that change in your life; spend more quality time with your husband and children, and move on from there.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday<\/strong> we talked about the &#8220;secret&#8221; to contentment. \u00a0Do you remember what the secret is? \u00a0Choosing to recognize that God has already supplied us with everything we need in life, and choosing to be perfectly content with what He has already given us. \u00a0<em>Only then will we be able to fully engage in life in a way that we never have before&#8230;.living life to the fullest.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday<\/strong> we talked about His &#8220;overflowing blessings&#8221;. \u00a0Here we learned how to be more comfortable with giving, because we have learned that God&#8217;s got our back, no matter what! \u00a0To use the abundance that He has already given us to give to others, and not to worry about &#8220;what if I run short by giving what I have to someone else&#8221;. \u00a0This was truly an eye-opening chapter for me!! \u00a0How about you??<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday<\/strong> we talked about the &#8220;balancing point&#8221;. \u00a0Again, another eye-opening chapter, for me! \u00a0What is true contentment? \u00a0Priscilla describes in so many different ways in this chapter, but the one that I liked the best was this, &#8220;It&#8217;s a balance. \u00a0A holy equilibrium. \u00a0A genuine gratitude for what the day brings, all the while maintaining a controlled anticipation for tomorrow may offer.&#8221; \u00a0I LOVE that!! \u00a0Having gratitude for today, and a &#8220;controlled anticipation&#8221; for tomorrow! \u00a0Meaning, not allowing ourselves to get ahead of God and begin to worry about tomorrow!<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know about you, but I have learned a lot in this section of the Resolution for Women! \u00a0Be sure to go back over this first section once more, before we head into next week. \u00a0Highlight areas in each chapter where you feel God is speaking to you about. \u00a0Then pray and ask Him to help you resolve to become increasingly satisfied in your life, as Paul was. \u00a0Ask Him to teach you to be content. \u00a0As Paul said, being content is a process that we need to learn. \u00a0It isn&#8217;t something that just happens overnight. \u00a0But it is something that can be learned!<\/p>\n<p>_________________________<\/p>\n<address><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Next week, our topic is &#8220;<strong>Purposefully Feminine<\/strong> &#8212; a resolution to champion biblical femininity&#8221;. \u00a0 Another awesome chapter!<\/span><\/address>\n<address>\u00a0<\/address>\n<address><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Have a Great weekend Ladies! \u00a0See you again on Sunday!\u00a0<\/span><\/address>\n<address>\u00a0<\/address>\n<address><strong>Living Intentionally for Him,<\/strong><\/address>\n<address>Christi<\/address>\n<address>\u00a0<\/address>\n<address>________________________________<\/address>\n<address><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Let&#8217;s pray:<\/strong><\/span><\/address>\n<address><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Father, thank You so much for the lessons we have learned this week. \u00a0As Paul learned how to be content in all things, Lord, we ask that You help us learn to be content in all things, as well. \u00a0We understand that in our own power, it can&#8217;t be done completely, but through You, Lord, we can truly learn to be content! \u00a0We thank You Lord for what You are doing in our lives through this study. \u00a0We ask special blessings upon Priscilla Shirer, the author of this book, for the work she put into writing this amazing book! \u00a0We love You Lord, in Jesus&#8217; Name, AMEN!<\/span><\/address>\n<address>\u00a0<\/address>\n<address>After reading today\u2019s blog, please return to our Online Bible Study Group on Facebook\u00a0for your daily activity!\u00a0 \u2665\u00a0 You just never know what we have in store for you!<\/address>\n<address>\u00a0<\/address>\n<address>\u00a0<\/address>\n<address>If you are not currently a part of our Online Bible Study group, and would like to be, please send an email to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:GirlfriendsCoffeeHour@gmail.com\">GirlfriendsCoffeeHour@gmail.com<\/a>, and we\u2019ll be glad to add you!<\/address>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, how was your first week with The Resolution for Women?
