(Not to be confused with pride, which I often have WAY too much of). \u00a0As I was looking back through my old blogs, I noticed a recurring theme: blogs about <em>who<\/em>, and <em>Whose<\/em>, I am. \u00a0I confess, it is an ongoing struggle, especially now as I have joined the 50+ club. \u00a0But the words in the blog below still hold true. When doubts creep in and self worth crumbles, it is because I have forgotten <em>who<\/em> and <em>Whose<\/em> I am. \u00a0In the song \u201cI Am New\u201d by Jason Gray, it says&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cForgiven, beloved, hidden in Christ<br \/>\nMade in the image of the Giver of Life<br \/>\nRighteous and holy, reborn and remade<br \/>\nAccepted and worthy&#8230;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This<strong><em> is<\/em><\/strong> my new name. This <em><strong>is<\/strong> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">who<\/span> I am&#8212;<\/em>I belong to Him. Sometimes I just need to be reminded once again of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>who<\/em> <\/span>I am. 2 Thessalonians 2:13 HCSB states:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&#8230;beloved by the Lord, because God<br \/>\nfrom the beginning chose you for salvation<br \/>\nthrough sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I am beloved by the Lord&#8230;chosen from the beginning&#8230;filled by the Spirit&#8230;and am continually being transformed. \u00a0This is who the Bible says I am. \u00a0So, what do I need to do? \u00a0As Blanca sings, I need to believe <strong><em>who<\/em> <\/strong>I am and <strong><em>Whose<\/em> <\/strong>I am.<\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Turning down<\/span><\/em><br \/>\n<em><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Tuning out<\/span><\/em><br \/>\n<em><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Every single word<\/span><\/em><br \/>\n<em><span style=\"color: #800080;\">That caused me pain<\/span><\/em><br \/>\n<em><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Unashamed<\/span><\/em><br \/>\n<em><span style=\"color: #800080;\">And unafraid<\/span><\/em><br \/>\n<em><span style=\"color: #800080;\">\u2018Cause I believe You mean it when You say<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Here are just a few of the things that the Scriptures tell us&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Colossians 3:12 AMP says I am \u201cwell-beloved [by God Himself,\u201d<\/li>\n<li>1 John 3:12 NASB tells us \u201cnow we are children of God,\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Zephaniah 3:17 NIV states \u201cThe Lord your God is with you\u2026He will take great delight in you; He will rejoice over you with singing.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Isaiah 49:16a AMP reminds us \u201cBehold, I have indelibly imprinted (tattooed a picture of) you on the palm of each of My hands.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As I wrote above,\u00a0the words in the blog that follows still hold true. When doubts creep in and self-worth crumbles, it is because I have forgotten <em>who<\/em>\u00a0I am and <em>Whose<\/em> I am.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: replay<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\">One too many doubts inside my head<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Am I strong\u2026beautiful<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\">Am I good enough<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\">Do I belong<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\">After all that I\u2019ve said and done<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\">Is it real when I feel<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\">I don\u2019t measure up<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\">Am I loved<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><em>I\u2019m running to the One who knows me<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\"><em>Who made every part of me in His hands<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\"><em>I\u2019m holding to the One who holds me<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\"><em>\u2018Cause I know whose I am, I know who I am<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\"><em>I am sure I am Yours<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Turning down, tuning that can relate to these words! \u00a0Thoughts and questions just like these have played over and over in my head at least a thousand times (sometimes in just one day) but as I was listening to this song on the radio, the light bulb went on! \u00a0<em>I have to know <strong>WHOSE<\/strong> I am before I will really understand <strong>WHO<\/strong> I am.<\/em> Duh! \u00a0{Mental head slap here.}<\/p>\n<p>As I looked through the many lists of Scriptures about \u2018<span style=\"color: #800080;\"><em><strong>who<\/strong> I am<\/em><\/span>\u2019, I began to see \u2018<span style=\"color: #800080;\"><em><strong>Whose<\/strong> I am<\/em><\/span>\u2019:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.<br \/>\nGalatians 3:26 NLT<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood,<br \/>\na holy nation, His own special people\u2026<br \/>\n1 Peter 2:9 NKJV<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u2026For our citizenship is in heaven\u2026<br \/>\nPhilippians 3:20a HCSB<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved\u2026<br \/>\nColossians 3:12a NASB<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him]<br \/>\n1 John 4:4a AMP<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p of immeasurable worth!<\/p>\n<p>Knowing <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><em><strong>Whose<\/strong> I am<\/em><\/span> gives me a sense of identity, of self confidence.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\">We are strong, we are good enough, we are loved! <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\">{And I really need to remember
