Son&#8212;is such a simple prayer, too&#8230; Can&#8217;t you just imagine Mary singing it under her own breath? \u00a0No one <em>really<\/em> could ever fully understand Mary\u2019s heart as she gives birth to her Son, Who is her Savior, her Redeemer, Emmanuel. \u00a0Perhaps in a small way (especially those who have also labored and delivered a baby) we can empathize a bit with her feelings. \u00a0But I do believe we can (we DO!) at times also sing\/plead this same prayer. \u00a0How about you&#8230;been there? \u00a0Me, too.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #a11e24;\">Breath of heaven, hold me together!<br \/>\nBe forever near me, Breath of heaven!<br \/>\nBreath of heaven,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #a11e24;\">lighten my darkness<br \/>\nPour over me Your holiness&#8230;for You are holy!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>This is a prayer I know He will answer&#8230;the Scriptures assure us that it is so.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">For in Him all things were created&#8230;<br \/>\nall things have been created through Him and for Him.<br \/>\nHe is before all things, and in Him all things <em><span style=\"color: #a11e24;\">hold together.<\/span><\/em><br \/>\nColossians 1:16 and 17<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">O Lord, You have searched me and known me.<br \/>\nYou know when I sit down and when I rise up;<br \/>\nYou understand my thought from afar.<br \/>\nYou scrutinize my path and my lying down,<br \/>\nAnd are intimately acquainted with all my ways.<br \/>\nEven before there is a word on my tongue,<br \/>\nBehold, O Lord, You know it all.<br \/>\nYou have enclosed me behind and before,<br \/>\nAnd laid Your hand upon me.<br \/>\nSuch knowledge is too wonderful for me;<br \/>\nIt is too high, I cannot attain to it.<br \/>\nPsalms 139:1-6<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">You know me inside and out, <em><span style=\"color: #a11e24;\">You hold me together<\/span><\/em>&#8230;<br \/>\nPsalm 41:12<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t the lyrics of this chorus just capture so much what we feel\u2014our total dependence on the Lord for everything we need. \u00a0And because Emmanuel <em>has<\/em> come, our Help <em>is<\/em> here.<\/p>\n<p>Just like Mary, we also recognize our great need for hope to cling to. \u00a0She grew up knowing and believing the promises made throughout the Old Testament of a Redeemer, a Savior. \u00a0She clung to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=luke+1%3A26-38&amp;version=HCSB;AMP;NLT;NASB\" target=\"_blank\">the words spoken by the Angel Gabriel<\/a> telling her of the greatness of this baby she was carrying.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">For with God nothing [is or ever] shall be impossible.<br \/>\nLuke 1:37<\/p>\n<p>We also know and believe this same Truth as well as the promises that God has made to us&#8230;not only of our Lord&#8217;s Coming but also of His second Coming!<\/p>\n<p>Mary, I am sure, had moments of fear and worry and despair, but she had been given a promise and she knew that holding on to that promise was ultimately not only all she had but all she needed. \u00a0We, too, should follow Mary&#8217;s example. \u00a0For nothing shall be impossible with God! \u00a0We, too, have the hope of being blessed by God&#8217;s goodness and faithfulness and grace to cling to!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering,<br \/>\nfor He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful [to His Word]&#8230;<br \/>\nHebrews 10:23<\/p>\n<p>Knowing of the great love that God has for mankind (for you&#8230;and for me!), we have faith and hope and trust in His ability to <em><span style=\"color: #a11e24;\">\u2018hold us together<\/span><\/em>\u2019 and to \u2018<span style=\"color: #a11e24;\"><em>be forever near me<\/em><\/span>\u2019. \u00a0I am praying and asking God to encourage you, my friend, and remind you that He loves you.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.<br \/>\nFor I am convinced that neither death, nor life,<br \/>\nnor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come,<br \/>\nnor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing,<br \/>\nwill be able to separate us from the love of God,<br \/>\nwhich is in Christ Jesus our Lord.<br \/>\nRomans 8:37-39<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:
