Personally, I can only think of one&#8211;Jesus.<br \/>\nBy prophecy and lineage, Jesus was born a king.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Behold,\u00a0<em>the<\/em>\u00a0days are coming, says the\u00a0Lord,<br \/>\nThat I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness;<br \/>\nA King shall reign and prosper,<br \/>\nAnd execute judgment and righteousness in the earth.<br \/>\nIn His days Judah will be saved,<br \/>\nAnd Israel will dwell safely;<br \/>\nNow this\u00a0<em>is<\/em>\u00a0His name by which He will be called:<br \/>\nTHE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.<br \/>\nJeremiah 23:5-6<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cGreetings, favored woman! The Lord is with you!<span style=\"font-size: 13.3333330154419px; line-height: 20px;\"><b>&#8230;<br \/>\n<\/b><\/span>\u201cDon\u2019t be afraid, Mary,\u201d the angel told her, \u201cfor you have found favor with God!<br \/>\nYou will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name Him Jesus.<br \/>\nHe will be very great and will be called the Son of the Most High.<br \/>\nThe Lord God will give Him the throne of His ancestor David.<br \/>\nAnd He will reign over Israel forever; His Kingdom will never end!\u201d<br \/>\nLuke 1:26-33<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">This is a record of the ancestors of Jesus the Messiah,<br \/>\na descendant of David and of Abraham\u2026<br \/>\nJacob was the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary.<br \/>\nMary gave birth to Jesus, who is called the Messiah.<br \/>\nAll those listed above include fourteen generations from Abraham to David,<br \/>\nfourteen from David to the Babylonian exile,<br \/>\nand fourteen from the Babylonian exile to the Messiah.<br \/>\nMatthew 1:1, 16-17<\/p>\n<p>But why a stable? When a gem is found in the dirt and mud of a mine, it really stands out as something different than the ordinary rocks surrounding it. When a beautiful, delicate flower is found in the weeds, it makes one stop and take notice. When a precious, beautiful baby is born in a less than appealing place (such as a stable), everyone stares in amazement. \u00a0I believe God wanted the contrast so the people would notice, and He still wants that today.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>Jesus<\/strong> was the little baby<\/em> born in that dingy stable, so that the shepherds would stop and take notice.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>Jesus<\/strong> was the little child<\/em> who had a major star shining over His head so that the wise men could find Him and worship Him.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>Jesus<\/strong> is The Light of the world<\/em> so we will stop and take notice in our otherwise dark world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>Jesus<\/strong> is our Savior<\/em>\u00a0Who died an agonizing death on the cross so that we would bow before Him to receive our salvation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>Jesus<\/strong> is The King<\/em> sitting on Heaven\u2019s Throne that we might lift up our eyes in worship to Him, our Lord and Savior, for all eternity.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #a11e24;\"><em>A King like this, a saving<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #a11e24;\"><em> Love that would not forsake us<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #a11e24;\"><em>A King like this, a throne of grace<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #a11e24;\"><em> That will stand forever<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #a11e24;\"><em>The Light has come!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there.<br \/>\nIts rider was named Faithful and True,<br \/>\nfor He judges fairly and wages a righteous war.<br \/>\nOn His robe at His thigh was written this title:<br \/>\nKing of all kings and Lord of all lords.<br \/>\nRevelation 19:11-16<\/p>\n<p>There is no better day than today to stop and take notice of The King whose throne was once a manger in a dingy stable, but Who now sits on The Throne of Grace in Heaven. \u00a0Join with me as \u2018<span style=\"color: #a11e24;\"><em>I bow my heart before no other name, I bow my heart before no other King<\/em><\/span>,\u2019 only Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
