However, she had not been able to raise the funds to go. At a prayer meeting, she had heard a woman praying to God saying that no matter what He brought into their lives, that it was alright \u00a0and that she trusted Him. Adelaide went home and wrote this hymn that night.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know about you but sometimes nothing makes me feel better than a good hymn from my childhood. God loves to speak to me through music and His message is always loud and clear. And lately, I have been trying to run this life of mine and it hasn&#8217;t worked out so well. In fact, I truly cannot do it. So as I was praying to Him, these words came flooding back to me and I prayed them to Him. Maybe you need to pray these same words today too.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\">* \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 \u2665 \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 \u00a0\u271e \u00a0 \u00a0~ \u00a0 \u2665 \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 *<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Dear God, have Your own way with my life. \u00a0You created me and You know what is best in my life. \u00a0Oh Lord, You are the Potter and I am the clay and whatever You mold my life to be, may it be all for You&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Yet LORD, You are our Father;<br \/>\nwe are the clay, and You are our Potter;<br \/>\nwe all are the work of Your hands.<br \/>\nIsaiah 64:8<\/p>\n<p>Oh Lord, search my heart and bring to my attention all the things that I need to repent. \u00a0Wash me white as snow, oh Lord. \u00a0I bow to You, my awesome Father&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Wash away my guilt and cleanse me from my sin.<br \/>\nPsalm 51:2<\/p>\n<p>Father God, I am so tired of trying and trudging on my own. \u00a0Please take over and heal me from my tendency to control. \u00a0For You do it so much better than me and I can actually rest in You&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed;<br \/>\nSave me and I will be saved,<br \/>\nFor You are my praise.<br \/>\nJeremiah 17:4<\/p>\n<p>And last, Lord, may all who know me and all who may meet me, see Jesus in me.
