\u00a0I want to say, as Paul did, that \u2018I am persuaded\u2026\u2019 though, I must admit, that I do falter in my persuasion. \u00a0And times do come when my little heart is not quite so brave. \u00a0But here\u2019s what I do know\u2026.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u2026Nevertheless I am not ashamed:<br \/>\nfor I know whom I have believed,<br \/>\nand am persuaded that He is able<br \/>\nto keep that which I have committed<br \/>\nunto Him against that day.<br \/>\n2 Timothy 1:12<\/p>\n<p>And I remember, and am greatly encouraged, as I read through the Scriptures and see the strong evidence of God\u2019s provision in the lives of His people\u2026for example, His man Job. \u00a0Job went through much but he knew his life was in the Almighty\u2019s sovereign and powerful hand. \u00a0And so, he could say this\u2013<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">But He is unchangeable, and who can turn Him?<br \/>\nAnd what He wants to do, that He does.<br \/>\nFor He performs [that which He has] planned for me,<br \/>\nand of many such matters He is mindful.<br \/>\nJob 23:13 and 14<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I know that You can do all things and that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted.<br \/>\nJob 42:2<\/p>\n<p>See, me, myself, on my own?\u2026well, I get weary; and I am not strong at times. \u00a0But not my God! \u00a0Oh, He is able! \u00a0He is unchangeable! \u00a0He is faithful! \u00a0He can do all things! \u00a0He keeps His promises! \u00a0And so I trust His Word(s). \u00a0Therefore when I remember He has said, \u201cI formed you and made you,\u201d \u201cI will never leave you nor forsake you,\u201d \u201cMy grace is sufficient for you\u2026\u201d I am encouraged and strengthened!<\/p>\n<p>One of my favorite Scriptures is Psalm 139&#8212;it is such a beautiful prayer of praise to Almighty God! \u00a0Throughout this psalm, David acknowledges God\u2019s providence, His sovereignty, His foreknowledge, His provision, His protection, His wisdom, and truly, His love.<\/p>\n<p>Below are excerpts from Psalm 139\u2026may I suggest you read these verses aloud, allowing Your eyes and ears and mind to take them in. Consider them, my friend; dwell on them.<\/p>\n<p>And may your heart be reminded and strongly encouraged as you remember that God Almighty, your heavenly Father, truly KNOWS your name. \u00a0He knows you\u2014every step, every move, every tear, every pain,\u00a0all your heartache, all your ways. \u00a0He knows all about you, inside and out, before and behind, sitting down and rising up.
