Every word of God is flawless,<\/span>
\nHe is a Shield to those who take refuge in Him.<\/span>
\nProverbs 30:5 <\/span><\/p>\n

*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0 \u2665 \u00a0 ~\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u271e\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0\u2665 \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 *<\/span><\/p>\n

A ‘shield’ is something that protects; and so God is saying that He is a “…Shield to those who take refuge in Him.” \u00a0He protects those who come to Him for refuge.<\/p>\n

After this the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision
\n\u2026Do not be afraid, Abram, I am your Shield, your very great reward.
\nGenesis 15: 1<\/p>\n

At this time Abram was fearful but God reassured him in a vision that He was Abram\u2019s shield and reward—He would protect Abram.<\/p>\n

Those who trust in the Lord, rather than in things that can be seen,
\nreceive the Lord as their Help and Shield. \u00a0Consider these verses:<\/p>\n

Blessed are you, O Israel; Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord?
\nHe is your Shield and Helper and your glorious Sword,
\nyour enemies will cower before you and you will trample down their high places.
\nDeuteronomy 33:29<\/p>\n

We wait in hope for the Lord; He is our Help and our Shield.
\nPsalm 33:20<\/p>\n

For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield.
\nThe Lord bestows favor and honor.
\nNo good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless.
\nPsalm 84:11<\/p>\n

O house of Israel, trust in the Lord; He is their Help and Shield.
\nPsalm 115:9<\/p>\n

He remembers those who fear Him and promises to bless them. \u00a0God rules in heaven but has delegated the rule of the earth to humans. \u00a0All of us need to take God seriously on His words. \u00a0What He said He shall do…He will do it. \u00a0He cannot change His mind for He is unchangeable.<\/p>\n

Also the Glory of Israel will not lie or change His mind;
\nfor He is not a man that He should change His mind.
\n1 Samuel 15:29<\/p>\n

*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0 \u2665 \u00a0 ~\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u271e\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0\u2665 \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 *<\/span><\/p>\n

Dear Lord, thank You for Your Word. \u00a0Thank You because You are our Shield in our lives. \u00a0We thank You for You have showed us other Scriptures that have built our faith once and again…more and more. \u00a0Let Your grace be sufficient as we trust in You always. \u00a0In Jesus’ name, I pray. \u00a0Amen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
