I could not figure out why but I knew there had to be a reason. So I decided to look up the lyrics and suddenly I understood.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&#8220;&#8230;<span style=\"color: #800080;\"><em><span style=\"font-family: 'Comic Sans MS', sans-serif;\">It covers EVERY part of me<\/span><\/em><\/span>&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Y&#8217;all, life is just plain hard sometimes. \u00a0Aging is hard. \u00a0Marriage is hard. \u00a0Exercise is hard. \u00a0Eating healthy is hard. \u00a0The big stuff, and the little stuff, is just downright hard. \u00a0I am pretty good about remembering to take the big stuff to God. \u00a0But the little stuff&#8212;the daily struggles, things that seem unimportant in the grand scheme of things&#8212;those I often try to handle on my own. \u00a0Right now, the hardest thing for me is eating healthy. \u00a0There is so much information available it is hard to know which opinion is right. \u00a0At every turn there is an ad or commercial encouraging me to reward myself with food. \u00a0This is a daily battle which I seem to have no motivation nor strength to fight. \u00a0Then boom! \u00a0Those 6 little words &#8220;<em><span style=\"color: #800080;\">It covers every\u00a0part of me<\/span>&#8230;<\/em>&#8221; hit me like a 2&#215;4. \u00a0<strong>God&#8217;s grace covers EVERY part of me.<\/strong> \u00a0(Including my struggle to eat healthy.)<\/p>\n<p>In my Bible study we have been talking about battles and how to fight them. \u00a0I have been learning so much.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I don&#8217;t have to be strong or do it own my own. God&#8217;s grace is all I need.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 NLT it says,<br \/>\n&#8220;My gracious favor is ALL you need. My power works BEST in your weakness&#8230;For when I am weak, then I am strong.&#8221;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I need to use the right weapons. God&#8217;s grace provides the weapons.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>2 Corinthians 10:4-5 tells us,<br \/>\n&#8220;We use GOD&#8217;s mighty weapons, not mere worldly weapons, to knock down the Devil&#8217;s strongholds. With these weapons we break down every proud argument&#8230;with these weapons we conquer every rebellious thought.&#8221; \u00a0(Note to self: right thinking leads to right eating &#8211; not arguments, or rebellious thoughts excuses,)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I must be sure I am covering myself in the armor God&#8217;s grace provides.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Remember the armor listed in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Ephesians%206%3A13-18&amp;version=NIV\" target=\"_blank\">Ephesians 6<\/a>,<br \/>\n&#8211; Belt of truth<br \/>\n&#8211; Breastplate of righteousness<br \/>\n&#8211; Shoes of peace<br \/>\n&#8211; Shield of faith<br \/>\n&#8211; Sword of the Spirit &#8211; the Bible<br \/>\n&#8211; Helmet of Salvation<br \/>\n&#8211; To pray at all times<br \/>\n(Look y&#8217;all, God&#8217;s armor<span style=\"color: #800080;\"><em> covers every part<\/em> <\/span>of us &#8211; from the top of our heads to the tip of our toes!)<\/p>\n<p>Your battle may not be the same as mine. \u00a0My battle is subject to change in the blink of an eye. \u00a0But these battles are real. \u00a0And they aren&#8217;t just fought here on earth. \u00a0They are fought in the heavenly realm as well. \u00a0(Remember <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=daniel+10%3A4-14&amp;version=NASB\" target=\"_blank\">Gabriel&#8217;s battle in Daniel 10<\/a>?)<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Look at this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/drbencarson?fref=nf\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook post from 9\/9\/15 by Ben Carson<\/a>:<br \/>\n&#8220;An eagle does not fight a snake on the ground. \u00a0It picks it up and changes grounds, then releases it back to the ground. \u00a0A snake has no stamina, no power, no balance in the air. \u00a0It is useless, weak and vulnerable unlike on the ground where it is deadly, wise and powerful. \u00a0Take your fight to the spirit realm (pray) and when you are in the spiritual realm God takes charge. \u00a0Don&#8217;t fight in the physical realm, change grounds like an eagle.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>There is so much to unpack in that brief post!
