such as,<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">reading the Scriptures (Psalm 119:2)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">singing praises (Psalms 104:33-34)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">praying (Jeremiah 29:11)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">times of worship (corporate and personal) (Psalm 63:1)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">calling upon Him (Isaiah 55:6)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">But, no matter how you seek God, it is &#8216;all your heart&#8217; that is required.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">But if&#8230;you seek the LORD your God, you will find Him<br \/>\nif you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.<br \/>\nDeuteronomy 4:29<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God&#8230;.<br \/>\n1 Chronicles 22:19<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And they entered into a covenant to seek the\u00a0<span class=\"small-caps\">Lord<\/span>,<br \/>\nthe God of their fathers,<br \/>\nwith all their heart&#8230;.<br \/>\n2 Chronicles 15:12<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">So, as we seek Him&#8212;whether through our prayers, our praises, our thanksgiving, our study of His Word&#8212;our whole heart must be engaged.<\/p>\n<p>And another thing that I do believe is required as we seek Him is quiet&#8212;actual physical-absence-of-distracting-noise quiet.<\/p>\n<p>Our Lord recognized His need for quiet. \u00a0If He, in His perfect sinless life, needed quiet time alone to seek His Father&#8230;we do too and even more so! \u00a0His example speaks clearly to us.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And in the morning, long before daylight,<br \/>\nHe got up and went out to a deserted place,<br \/>\nand there He prayed.<br \/>\nMark 1:35<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&#8230;and great crowds gathered to hear Him and to be healed of their infirmities.<br \/>\nBut He would withdraw to desolate places and pray.<br \/>\nLuke 5:15, 16<\/p>\n<p>Along with quietness in our surroundings, perhaps even more important is quietness in our hearts. \u00a0This is something that I believe each of us yearns for and, truly, can only be found as we seek Him. \u00a0There is an incomparable quietness that we are promised as we trust in our Lord.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Be still and rest in the Lord; wait for Him and patiently lean yourself upon Him;<br \/>\nPsalm 37:7<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Be still, and know that I am God.<br \/>\nPsalm 46:10<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Come to Me,<br \/>\nall you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened,<br \/>\nand I will cause you to rest.<br \/>\nMatthew 11:28<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I love those that love Me;
