Your eternal word, O Lord, stands firm in heaven.
\nYour faithfulness extends to every generation,
\nas enduring as the earth You created.
\nPsalms 119:89-90<\/span><\/p>\n

*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u2665 \u00a0 ~\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u271e\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0\u2665 \u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0 *\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The thing I love about God’s Word is that no matter<\/em> how I am feeling, no matter<\/em> what is going on around me, no matter<\/em> what other people say, and no matter<\/em> what my mind or eyes see God’s promises take rank over all of it<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n

God’s promise is always true. Sometimes it is hard to see this, but it is true. You know, when bad things happen God does not cause them. \u00a0He is a good God, therefore, He is incapable of doing wrong or bad. \u00a0He can only do good. It is hard for us to understand because we, as humans, can do both. However, God is not like us in this aspect. \u00a0He can only do good.<\/p>\n

Let me say it again, He can ONLY do good. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

God’s word says that He has come to give us life and that He has come to give us that life abundantly (John 10:10). \u00a0Here are a few of my favorite promises:<\/p>\n

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary
\nand carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
\nTake My yoke upon you.
\nLet me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart
\nand you will find rest for your souls.”
\nMatthew 11:28-29<\/p>\n

And this same God who takes care of me
\nwill supply all your needs from His glorious riches,
\nwhich have been given to us in Christ Jesus.
\nPhilippians 4:19<\/p>\n

I am leaving you with a gift – peace of mind and heart.
\nAnd the peace I give is a gift the world can’t give.
\nSo don’t be troubled or afraid.
\nJohn 14:27<\/p>\n

Knowing God’s promises isn’t enough…we have to believe<\/strong> them no matter what<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Hebrews 10: 23 (my favorite verse) says,
\n“Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm,
\nfor God can be trusted to keep His promise.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
