Search me [thoroughly], O God, and know my heart;<\/span>
\nTest me and know my anxious thoughts;<\/span>
\nAnd see if there is any wicked or\u00a0hurtful way in me,<\/span>
\nAnd lead me in the everlasting way.
\nPsalms 139:23 and 24<\/span><\/p>\n

This week, here on the Seeking Him<\/em><\/strong> devotional blog, we have reached the conclusion of our series on this wonderful chapter, Psalm 139. \u00a0These final verses show the heart of a humble person who recognizes…and asks for…God’s help.\u00a0\u00a0Here\u2019s a little of what our devotional writers shared\u2026.<\/p>\n

In Change<\/em>, Ahmee<\/span><\/strong> encouraged us to recognize we need God’s help for this…<\/p>\n

Do you believe that\u2019s a person can change? \u00a0I do\u2026I believe that a person can change, if they want to change. \u00a0We cannot change people, people have to want to change on their own or the change won\u2019t stick. \u00a0I\u2019m talking about true change not \u201cappearances\u201d of change. \u00a0Can people change on their own? \u00a0I do believe that even this is possible. \u00a0However<\/em>, I also believe that the easiest change you will ever experience is with the help of God<\/em><\/strong>. \u00a0And by easy<\/em> I mean that the tools are readily available if you will accept them. First, and foremost, a person needs to acknowledge that there is a need to change….<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In Search Me<\/em>, Ann<\/span><\/strong> reminded us that nothing is ever hid from God…<\/p>\n

‘Search me, O God\u2019—t<\/em>his is an appropriate prayer for every believer. \u00a0Not only must we hate unrighteousness in the world but we must also be aware that there may be something in us that grieves God. \u00a0We should be willing to ask God to put us through any test that would further His work of sanctification in us. \u00a0If anything offensive is found, we must turn from it and repent.<\/p>\n

  • We cannot hide any<\/em>thing from God for He is\u00a0<\/span>the All-Knowing God
    \n<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Our God sees<\/span> every<\/strong>thing<\/span>
    \n<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • This we should know: we cannot hide any<\/em><\/strong><\/span>thing from the eyes of God.<\/span>

    Being a leader carries with it a lot of responsibility. \u00a0Some do it well, working hard to be available to their team and leading by example. \u00a0It is hard work to keep everyone motivated and on the right page. God is a great motivator<\/em>. \u00a0He wrote us a manual for motivating ourselves and others..it is called the Holy Bible!<\/p>\n
