{"id":27608,"date":"2015-09-11T00:25:29","date_gmt":"2015-09-11T04:25:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/?p=27608"},"modified":"2015-09-10T22:57:11","modified_gmt":"2015-09-11T02:57:11","slug":"his-promises-for-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/wordpress\/2015\/09\/11\/his-promises-for-you\/","title":{"rendered":"His Promises For You"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/encouragementbloggraphicromans15.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-20533\" src=\"http:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/encouragementbloggraphicromans15.jpg\" alt=\"encouragementbloggraphicromans15\" width=\"425\" height=\"304\" srcset=\"https:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/encouragementbloggraphicromans15.jpg 425w, https:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/encouragementbloggraphicromans15-300x214.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 425px) 100vw, 425px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Comic Sans MS', sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #008000;\">You keep him in perfect peace \u2028whose mind is stayed on You,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Comic Sans MS', sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #008000;\">\u2028because he trusts in You.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Comic Sans MS', sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #008000;\">\u2028Trust in the Lord forever,\u2028<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Comic Sans MS', sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #008000;\">for the Lord God is an everlasting rock. <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Comic Sans MS', sans-serif; font-size: 14pt; color: #008000;\">Isaiah 26:3-4<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">* \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 \u2665 \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 \u271e \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 \u2665 \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 *<\/span><\/p>\n<p>My mind has not been at rest lately. \u00a0In fact, if I am completely honest, I haven&#8217;t allowed God to have my anxious thoughts&#8212;until today. \u00a0Have you ever gotten so tired that you finally gave in? \u00a0I wish I could tell you that I had this grand revelation and that I willingly handed it all over. \u00a0Honestly, God has been proving over and over and over that He is so capable of taking care of my affairs much more than I am. \u00a0See, this season of my life is so different for me in that I have two of my children living away from me now and I truly have to give them over to Him, physically and mentally. \u00a0Oh, this is very hard&#8230;so I went to His Word and found \u00a0many verses on just this. \u00a0I thought I would share because I know that, even though we are all in different seasons, we all need to trust in Him.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">But You, O Lord, are a shield about me, my Glory, and the One who lifts my head.<br \/>\nPsalm 3:3<\/p>\n<p>He is a shield when the world is coming at us in all directions. \u00a0And, when it seems that we are defeated, He lifts our heads out of the shame and into His grace. \u00a0He wants us to look up at Him and let His glory shine so bright that it dims all the hard that is around us.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">For everyone born of God overcomes the world.<br \/>\nThis is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.<br \/>\n1 John 5:4<\/p>\n<p>Did you read that? \u00a0It says &#8220;<em>everyone<\/em>&#8220;&#8230;that means you, too. \u00a0You were born an overcomer. \u00a0In Jesus we have victory over the world because He died and overcame it for us! \u00a0All we have to do is have faith.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>faith that He will help you with that marriage that is at the brink of defeat<\/li>\n<li>faith that He can heal that illness that you have been battling for so long<\/li>\n<li>faith that He can take care of that child that you feel is lost forever<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nothing is too much for Him! We have the victory in Jesus!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid of them!<br \/>\nThe Lord your God will go ahead of you.<br \/>\nHe will neither fail you nor forsake you.<br \/>\nDeuteronomy 31:6<\/p>\n<p>What a comfort to know that, no matter where you or your children go, He goes before you all. \u00a0When you are sending those babies back to school&#8230;pray that God will go before them, and that He will be at that homeroom before they are, and that He will give them peace. \u00a0Or, when you have a meeting that you are really unsure about&#8230;ask God to meet you there; even in the parking lot to walk in with you. \u00a0He will!<\/p>\n<p>Be strong and have courage to do this life that He has called you to live. \u00a0You have nothing and no one to fear when He is with you. \u00a0Lastly, remember His promise to never fail you or forsake you. \u00a0Oh, how loved we are by our Creator. \u00a0I don&#8217;t know about you but, after reading these promises, I am full of joy and cannot stop smiling!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">* \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 \u2665 \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 \u271e \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 \u2665 \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 *<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Where are you today, my friend? \u00a0What do you need to trust Him with? \u00a0I encourage you to pray these verses to your Heavenly Father asking Him to do what you cannot do by yourself. \u00a0Perhaps write these verses down on notecards and put them where you can see them daily. \u00a0He wants to encourage you and fill you with peace that only He can give you. I pray that you will feel it today!<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Let&#8217;s pray<\/span><\/em>!<br \/>\nDear God, You are so awesome and amazing and so full of love for Your children. \u00a0Oh Lord, thank You that You never change and that all Your promises are true. \u00a0Thank You for all those who went before us&#8212;those whose stories are written in the pages of Your Word&#8212;to teach us and to prove to us that You will take care of us. \u00a0You will provide. \u00a0You will never fail us. \u00a0You will never leave us. And, Lord, for those today who are having a hard time trusting You, I pray that You show up today in a big way so that they will know beyond any doubt that it is You!!! \u00a0We love You and we praise You.
