\/>\nJohn 8:36<\/p>\n<p>As I started off this year, I had two goals in mind:<br \/>\n1. \u00a0 Let God lead \u00a0 \u00a0 2. \u00a0\u00a0Take care of my temple, offering it as a living sacrifice<\/p>\n<p>But, a month into this journey, I realize I have allowed earthly chains to bind me.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Emotional chains<\/li>\n<li>Prideful chains<\/li>\n<li>Chains forged by bad habits and neglect<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The sad thing is, I wasn\u2019t<em> even aware\u00a0<\/em>of the chains. \u00a0Not until I started seeking God and delving deeper into His Word. \u00a0I am learning that I need to turn to Him more often, especially when trying to conquer unhealthy habits or when I want to go my own way. \u00a0Sometimes it just seems so much easier to continue on as is. \u00a0<em>Change of any kind is hard.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/choosehardgraphic.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-24086\" src=\"http:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/choosehardgraphic.jpg\" alt=\"choosehardgraphic\" width=\"278\" height=\"181\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s it. \u00a0We all must <span style=\"font-family: 'Comic Sans MS', sans-serif;\">choose our hard<\/span>. \u00a0For me, if I am going to do hard, I want to do it with Someone who has already conquered hard.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Now I will free you from their control [break his yoke from you]<br \/>\nand tear away your chains [shackles].<br \/>\nNahum 1:13 EXB<\/p>\n<p>I want to do hard with the One who can free me from the control of temptations and bad habits. \u00a0I want to do hard with the only One who can break my chains of bondage and set me free. \u00a0For only then, will I be free indeed. \u00a0How about you?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Comic Sans MS',
