How precious to me are Your thoughts, God!<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>How vast is the sum of them!<\/span><\/span>
\nWere I to count them,<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>they would outnumber the grains of sand\u2014<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>when I awake, I am still with You.
\nPsalms 139:17 and 18<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This week, here on the Seeking Him<\/em><\/strong> devotional blog, we have continued along in our series on this wonderful chapter, Psalm 139. Our devotional writers have reminded us how vast, how precious, how awesome are God’s thoughts of us. \u00a0Here are a few of their<\/em> thoughts\u2026.<\/p>\n

In Thoughts<\/em>, Tina<\/span><\/strong> reminded us about being still and waiting on God….<\/p>\n

David was a great example of waiting and sitting before the Lord. \u00a0He would go to a quiet place and meditate on the great love God had shown him and his family…David was wonderful at being humble. \u00a0He did not let the fact that he was a king stop him from baring his heart and soul to the One who formed him in his mother\u2019s womb.<\/span><\/p>\n

As we wait on God to answer our prayers, we may become discouraged thinking, \u201cHe does not care about my little issue\u2026\u201d or, \u00a0\u201cI have asked way too many times about the same thing\u2026.\u201d \u00a0Let\u2019s change our thoughts. \u00a0Let\u2019s see how they align with Scriptures. \u00a0God wants us to acknowledge that He is first in our lives (not second, or third, or even fourth). \u00a0We need to train ourselves to put Him first in all that we do, all that we think, and all that we are.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u2766<\/span><\/h3>\n

In What He Thinks of Me<\/em>, Ahmee<\/span><\/strong> reminded us of Who’s thoughts of us we should be concerned….<\/p>\n

…However, not all opinions should be accepted. \u00a0In fact, before we accept anything about ourselves we should prayerfully go to God. \u00a0He can show us our flaws in a different light and show us what He thinks and show us how to change. \u00a0God does that. \u00a0Now, if God says that it is so, then it is so.<\/p>\n

…We are loved and thought very highly of. God sees our potential and loves us right where we are.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
