Selah<br \/>\nPsalm 68:19<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Come to Me, all of you who are weary and burdened,<br \/>\nand I will give you rest.<br \/>\nAll of you, take up My yoke and learn from Me,<br \/>\nbecause I am gentle and humble in heart,<br \/>\nand you will find rest for yourselves.<br \/>\nFor My yoke is easy and My burden is light.<br \/>\nMatthew 11:28-30<\/p>\n<p>The burdens, the concerns, the cares of this life can turn into worries, doubts, fears if we do not bring them to our Lord letting Him take care of them. \u00a0We are to humbly recognize our great need for Jesus, and all that He has already done and promised to do for us, because He cares for us.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God<br \/>\nso that at the proper time He may exalt you,<br \/>\ncasting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you.<br \/>\n1 Peter 5:6 and 7<\/p>\n<p>Listen to Jesus\u2019 admonition and promises in Matthew chapter 6; \u00a0as you read along, put your own name wherever there is a <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u2665<\/span> , ok?<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Therefore I tell you,\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u2665<span style=\"color: #000000;\">,<\/span><\/span> stop being perpetually uneasy (anxious and worried) about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink; or about your body, what you shall put on. \u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u2665<\/span>, \u00a0is not life greater [in quality] than food, and the body [far above and more excellent] than clothing?<br \/>\nLook at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u2665<span style=\"color: #000000;\">,<\/span><\/span> not worth much more than they?<br \/>\nAnd, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u2665<\/span>, who of you by worrying and being anxious can add one unit of measure (cubit) to his stature or to the span of his life?<br \/>\nAnd why should you, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u2665<\/span>, \u00a0be anxious about clothes? Consider the lilies of the field and learn thoroughly how they grow; they neither toil nor spin.<br \/>\nYet I tell you,<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> \u2665<\/span>, even Solomon in all his magnificence (excellence, dignity, and grace) was not arrayed like one of these.<br \/>\nBut if God so clothes the grass of the field, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u2665<\/span>, which today is alive and green and tomorrow is tossed into the furnace, will He not much more surely clothe you, O you of little faith?<br \/>\nTherefore do not worry and be anxious,<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> \u2665<\/span>, saying, What are we going to have to eat? or, What are we going to have to drink? or, What are we going to have to wear?<br \/>\nFor the Gentiles (heathen) wish for and crave and diligently seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows well that you, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u2665<\/span>, \u00a0need them all.<br \/>\nBut\u00a0seek first of all His kingdom and His righteousness, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u2665<\/span>, and then all these things will be given you besides.<br \/>\nSo do not worry, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u2665<\/span>, or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. \u00a0Sufficient for each day, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u2665<\/span>, is its own trouble. (emphasis added)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Jesus\u2019 words are full of action for us to take, true\u2026but not the action of taking care of ourselves.
