(Exodus 13:17-14:31)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">When the disciples were in the raging storm on the Sea of Galilee, it was calmed at the voice of Jesus. (Mark 4:35-41)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">When God speaks and nature responds, it\u2019s for a reason. When Christ was dying on the Cross, for the sins committed by each of us, there was great pain (spiritually and physically) and Christ cried out and the earth responded with a quake. (Matthew 27:46-56)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Comic Sans MS', sans-serif;\"><em>Our God is sovereign over all of Creation&#8230;and that includes each of us.<\/em> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">When we pass through the waters, He will be there for us.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">But now thus says the Lord,<br \/>\nHe who created you, O Jacob,<br \/>\nHe who formed you, O Israel:<br \/>\n\u201cFear not, for I have redeemed you;<br \/>\nI have called you by name, you are Mine.<br \/>\nWhen you pass through the waters, I will be with you;<br \/>\nand through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;<br \/>\nwhen you walk through fire you shall not be burned,<br \/>\nand the flame shall not consume you.<br \/>\nFor I am the Lord your God,<br \/>\nthe Holy One of Israel, your Savior.<br \/>\nIsaiah 43:1-3<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Whether we are escaping the enemy of our soul or the storms and pains of daily life, our God can command calm. \u00a0Whether it is physical, emotional, financial, relational, or spiritual, because Christ paid the price on the Cross, it can be \u201c<span style=\"color: #800080;\"><em>calmed and broken for my regard.<\/em><\/span>\u201d \u00a0He knows our pain and so much more. \u00a0We may not see the answers immediately, but our hope is built on nothing less than our faith in Jesus\u2019 cleansing blood and righteousness.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart<br \/>\n(that is, the word of faith that we proclaim);<br \/>\nbecause, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord<br \/>\nand believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.<br \/>\nFor with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.<br \/>\nFor the Scripture says, \u201cEveryone who believes in him will not be put to shame.\u201d<br \/>\nRomans 10:8-11<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses,<br \/>\nbut we have One who has been tempted in every way,<br \/>\njust as we are\u2014yet He did not sin.<br \/>\nLet us then approach God\u2019s throne of grace with confidence,<br \/>\nso that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.<br \/>\nHebrews 4:15-16<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><em>Through it all<\/em><\/span>, He is Emmanuel&#8212;God with us. \u00a0When the mountains in our life are too big for us to climb, Jesus wants us to have the faith to command it to be thrown into the sea.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And Jesus answered them, \u201cHave faith in God.<br \/>\nTruly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain,<br \/>\n\u2018Be taken up and thrown into the sea,\u2019 and does not doubt in his heart,<br \/>\nbut believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.<br \/>\nTherefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer,<br \/>\nbelieve that you have received it, and it will be yours.<br \/>\nMark 11:23<\/p>\n<p>When we are going through hard times in our lives, God wants us to keep our eyes on Jesus. \u00a0It is with the authority of Christ given to us that we can speak His Name to the mountains and storms. \u00a0He is our Salvation&#8230;spirit, soul, and body.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><em>So let go, my soul, and trust in Him<br \/>\n<\/em><\/span><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><em>The waves and wind still know His Name&#8230;<br \/>\n<\/em><\/span><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><em>&#8230;Through it all<br \/>\n<\/em><\/span><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><em>It is well, it is well with me<\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\">* \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 \u2665 \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 \u271e \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 \u2665 \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 *<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lord Jesus, oh how, we love You! \u00a0All of us have waves and wind and mountains that try to stop us in our tracks (and sometimes they do for a time) but through it all You give us the love and confidence to say, \u201cit is well with my soul.\u201d \u00a0Help us by Your Holy Spirit to keep our eyes fixed on You and not on our circumstances. \u00a0We have our faith in You so we can say, \u201cThough we pass through the waters You are with us, so we will not drown!\u201d \u00a0Thank You!
