Isaiah 55:1 says; &#8220;Come, everyone who is thirsty, come to the waters; and you without money, come, buy, and eat! \u00a0Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost!&#8221; \u00a0He&#8217;s calling us all!<\/p>\n<p>In the story of Mary and Martha, as we know, one is busy running around doing and the other is sitting at Jesus&#8217; feet, just soaking it all in. At the end of the gathering, who is the one that is most filled? \u00a0I don&#8217;t mean <strong><em>physical<\/em> <\/strong>food and water, my friend, I mean <em><strong>spiritual<\/strong><\/em>, long lasting and filling. \u00a0This is what He desires for us. \u00a0This world can really deplete and literally take all that we have. \u00a0 The only way to <em>survive<\/em>, no..rather, <em><strong>thrive<\/strong><\/em> is with Jesus.<\/p>\n<p>Are you wondering how? \u00a0His Word is living water. \u00a0It is so full of substance that will fill and will last. \u00a0This is how we can sit at Jesus&#8217; feet today&#8212;by turning off the TV, muting the cell phone, taking a break from social media, and just listening to Him. \u00a0Some of us are really active in our churches. \u00a0We may even lead full-time ministries and that is awesome! \u00a0But if we, as leaders, are not in tune with Him, we will have nothing worth anything to give.<\/p>\n<p>Listen closely to the words of this song&#8230;close your eyes and meditate on them. \u00a0Pray and ask God to show you the areas in your life that need watering. \u00a0Ask Him to reveal the dry areas that can only be quenched by the Spirit of God. \u00a0Then sit at His feet and soak Him in. \u00a0And, if you don&#8217;t know Him or if you have moved away from Him, I ask that you pray this prayer with me:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\">*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u2665 \u00a0 ~\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u271e\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0\u2665 \u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0 *<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Dear God, I know I am a sinner. \u00a0I need forgiveness that only You can give. \u00a0I am tired of doing the same things over and over. \u00a0I believe that Jesus is Your Son and that He is the Savior of the world. \u00a0He died for me! \u00a0I ask that Jesus come into my heart to live. \u00a0Help me to grow to know You and to let You change me.
