How great is Your goodness,<\/span>
\nWhich You have stored up for those who fear You,<\/span>
\nWhich You have wrought for those who take refuge in You,<\/span>
\nBefore the sons of men!
\nPsalm 31:19<\/span><\/p>\n

*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0 \u2665 \u00a0 ~\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u271e\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0\u2665 \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 *<\/span><\/p>\n

This week, here on the Seeking Him<\/em><\/strong> devotional blog, we \u00a0have been reminded of our God’s GREAT goodness! \u00a0 Our devotional writers have shared the Truth given us in this week\u2019s passage through the devotionals they have written. \u00a0Here are a few of their thoughts\u2026.<\/p>\n

In Fear of the Lord<\/em>, Tina<\/span><\/strong> gave us two examples: the Israelites who did NOT have the fear of the Lord as opposed to the first-century Church who DID live in the fear of the Lord….<\/p>\n

“The first-century Church (shown to us in the Book of Acts) practiced the fear of the Lord.<\/p>\n

So\u00a0the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria
\nhad peace and was being built up.
\nAnd walking in the fear of the Lord
\nand in the comfort of the\u00a0Holy Spirit, it multiplied.
\nActs 9:31<\/p>\n

The early Church chose to focus on what was good in their lives and keep up their community by seeking daily to bless others and be God\u2019s best.<\/p>\n

We can walk in this way as well. \u00a0When we\u00a0are coming into a state of turmoil, we can choose to walk in God\u2019s goodness by following His Will in our lives.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In God’s Goodness<\/em>, Ann<\/span><\/strong> shared numerous Scriptures relating to the goodness of our God….<\/p>\n

“Let me just show you a few verses in the Bible that show the goodness of God.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Psalm 25:8 \u00a0Good and upright is the Lord therefore He instructs sinners in His ways.
\n\u2022 Psalm 33:5 \u00a0 The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of His unfailing love.
\n\u2022 Psalm 34:8 \u00a0 Taste and see that the Lord is good, blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him.
\n\u2022 Psalm 119:68 \u00a0 You are good and what You do is good, teach me your decrees.
\n\u2022 Psalm 145:7 \u00a0They will celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of Your righteousness.
\n\u2022 Matthew 19:17 \u00a0\u201cWhy do you ask Me about what is good?\u201d Jesus replied. \u201cThere is only One who is good. If you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.\u201d<\/p>\n

The above Scriptures speak to us in many ways, showing us the ways of the goodness of the Lord. \u00a0It is by His grace and His lovingkindness to put in store all this goodness just for us. \u00a0The beneficiaries of His goodness are you and I\u2014as long as we do His will and walk in His statutes. \u00a0God\u2019s goodness is immeasurable. The grace of God takes us to that level where we are able to receive this goodness.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u2766<\/span><\/h3>\n

And in Using Blessings to Share God<\/em>, Ahmee<\/span><\/strong> encouraged us to be sure to point others to the goodness of our God….<\/p>\n

Psalm 31:19 says \u201c\u2026blessing them before the watching world\u2026\u201d. \u00a0I like that! \u00a0God blesses us before the eyes of the watching world. \u00a0He is using us to draw attention to Himself so that others will be saved. \u00a0God reaches and searches and hunts down. Truly, I cannot see how any one person might be able to say that they did not know of the Almighty God. \u00a0In this world of evil He has done so much. \u00a0So, let<\/strong><\/em> the world watch! \u00a0Let them watch<\/strong> and let them see<\/strong>! \u00a0But don\u2019t forget to point them upward. \u00a0Use your blessings as the opportunity to point someone to God.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
