How great is the goodness
\nYou have stored up for those who fear You?
\nYou lavish it on those who come to You for protection,
\nblessing them before the watching world.
\n<\/span>Psalm 31:19<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u2665 \u00a0 ~\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u271e\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0\u2665 \u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0 *<\/span><\/p>\n

God blesses those who love Him and live according to His Word. \u00a0This is a known fact. \u00a0We as believers have seen this happen over and over. \u00a0And what do God’s blessings look like to the world? \u00a0Hopefully, they are seeds planted and beacons that draw them towards God. \u00a0I say hopefully<\/em>\u00a0because we can be blessed and yet fail to give credit where credit is due—to God.<\/p>\n

When I first got saved I always thought it was odd that people would say “God willing…” or “Glory to God!” \u00a0I had this mentality that not everything had to be “Glory to God!” or that God was willing. \u00a0I used to view these statements as zealous or at least unnecessary. \u00a0I get it now, though. \u00a0<\/strong>Given, when talking to an unbeliever, I feel some explanation would be helpful; but we need to give God credit where credit is due.<\/p>\n

Psalm 31:19 says “…blessing them before the watching world…”. \u00a0I like that! \u00a0God blesses us before the eyes of the watching world. \u00a0He is using us to draw attention to Himself so that others will be saved. \u00a0God reaches and searches and hunts down. Truly, I cannot see how any one person might be able to say that they did not know of the Almighty God. \u00a0In this world of evil He has done so much. \u00a0So, let<\/strong><\/em> the world watch! \u00a0Let them watch<\/strong> and let them see<\/strong>! \u00a0But don’t forget to point them upward. \u00a0Use your blessings as the opportunity to point someone to God.<\/p>\n

\u00a0*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u2665 \u00a0 ~\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u271e\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0\u2665 \u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0 *<\/span><\/p>\n

Lord, help us to use our blessings to point others to You…whether through our finances, our time, or our treasures. \u00a0May all that You have given us be used for Your glory. \u00a0Help us to not live self-centered<\/em> lives, but people-centered<\/em> lives. \u00a0Let us be open to all opportunities that You may send our way. \u00a0Give us the courage to speak up and out about anything You may place on our hearts. \u00a0May we change the world one heart at a time with You, for Your glory, and with Your provision. \u00a0Thank You, Amen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
