Know therefore that the Lord your God is God. <\/span>
\nHe is the faithful God, <\/span>
\nkeeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations <\/span>
\nof those who love Him and keep His commands.<\/span>

*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0 \u2665 \u00a0 ~\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u271e\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0\u2665 \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 *<\/span><\/p>\n

This week, here on the Seeking Him<\/em><\/strong> devotional blog, we \u00a0have been so encouraged as we meditated on this wonderful verse! \u00a0\u00a0Our devotional writers have shared the Truth given us in this week\u2019s passage reminding us that our God \u2018is the faithful God…keeping His covenant of love…’<\/span><\/em> \u00a0Here are a few of their thoughts\u2026.<\/p>\n

In Faithful God<\/em>, Ann<\/span><\/strong> wrote about the incredible love and relationship that God had with the children of Israel….<\/p>\n

It shows God\u2019s gracious gift based on His love and mercy for rewarding the Israelites with faithfulness. \u00a0 Moses warned the Israelites that continued possession of the land would be contingent on their perseverance in faith and in obedience to God. \u00a0If the Israelites became wicked like the Canaanites they, too, would be dispossessed of the land. \u00a0In other words, His love and mercy in His giving of the land was not unconditional. \u00a0If the people turned away from the Lord and forgot His word they, too, would surely perish.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u2766<\/span><\/h3>\n

In Don’t Complain…Instead Know That I Am God<\/em>, Ahmee<\/span><\/strong> reminded us of the complaining attitude of the Israelites ….<\/p>\n

God decides when we are ready for something. But often how we choose to look at our circumstances effects how long something takes. \u00a0The Israelites complained and complained and complained. \u00a0{They loved to do them some complaining!}<\/p>\n

  • Numbers 11:1a says, \u201cNow the people complained about their hardships\u2026\u201d<\/li>\n
  • Exodus 15:24a says, \u201cSo the people grumbled\u2026\u201d<\/li>\n
  • Exodus 16:2a says, \u201cIn the desert the whole community grumbled\u2026\u201d<\/li>\n
  • Exodus 17:2a says, \u201cSo they quarreled\u2026\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    From all the complaining they did, one would have never guessed that God would free them from captivity. \u00a0I mean, that\u2019s kind of big! …Yet, and still, they complained. \u00a0Here\u2019s the deal: God doesn\u2019t forget His promises<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0Solomon said it this way,<\/p>\n

    \u2026O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like You in heaven or on earth \u2013
    \nYou who keep Your covenant of love with Your servants
    \nwho continue wholeheartedly in Your way.
    \n2 Chronicles 6:14<\/p>\n

    We don\u2019t need to complain…God has done so many things for us, why not focus on those things rather than the things that are wrong.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
