Therefore, since we have been justified through faith,
\nwe have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
\n<\/span>through Whom we have gained access by faith
\ninto this grace in which we now stand.
\nAnd we boast in the hope of the glory of God.
\nRomans 5:1-2<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This week, here on the Seeking Him<\/em><\/strong> devotional blog, we are continuing a mini-series on the subject of HOPE<\/strong>. \u00a0Our devotional writers have shared the Truth given us in this week\u2019s passage reminding us that ‘we boast in the hope of the glory of God<\/em><\/span>\u2019! \u00a0Here are a few of their thoughts\u2026.<\/p>\n

In Spiritual Hope (2)<\/em>, Ann\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>reminds us to trust, and not doubt, God….<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Whatsoever God spoke concerning our lives shall come to pass. Let us not doubt God. \u00a0We will be rewarded as we believe Him.<\/p>\n

For in this hope we were saved.
\nBut hope that is seen is no hope at all.
\nWho hopes for what he already has?
\nRomans 8:24<\/p>\n

Hope is ‘…expecting something you are visualizing but it is not there yet.’ \u00a0Brethren, when hoping for something, let us put ourselves in totally trusting God; do not have something in mind already…That is why in Romans 15:4 the Word says \u201c\u2026for everything that was written in the past was written to teach us so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u2766<\/span><\/h3>\n

In Hope in the Glory of God<\/em>, Ahmee<\/span><\/strong> writes about our amazing God….<\/p>\n

God is amazing in so many different ways! \u00a0I looked up the definition of the word glory<\/em>. \u00a0It means \u201c\u2026high renown or honor won by notable achievements.\u201d \u00a0To say that we have hope in the glory of God<\/em> is very true. God has done many amazing things. \u00a0Some we have seen ourselves and others we have heard from other people and, some even, we have read in the Bible. God is amazing!<\/p>\n

To speak up and say \u201cThis is possible all by the grace of God!\u201d is an enormous thing to do. \u00a0It points to the glory of God \u2013 the same glory that is our hope<\/span><\/em>. \u00a0So, point to it\u2026continue to point it\u2026and don\u2019t ever stop pointing to it so that others can find the hope that we have. So, that others can hope in the glory of God<\/em><\/span>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In Helmet of Hope<\/em>, Tina<\/span><\/strong> shares an encouraging quote with us….<\/p>\n

I am currently re-reading Derek Prince\u2019s book Faith to Live By<\/em><\/strong>. <\/em>In his book, there is a chapter\u00a0Faith versus Hope<\/em> in which he states, \u00a0\u201cHope, in the biblical sense, is a confident expectation of good \u2013 a steady, persistent optimism. Hope protects our minds. Every Christian should wear a helmet of hope twenty-four hours a day. If we lay aside the helmet and begin to dwell on negative thoughts and gloomy forebodings, our minds are vulnerable to Satan\u2019s subtle attacks.\u201d<\/p>\n

Our thoughts need to be focused on what is positive, good and worthy. Prayer\u2014along with becoming aware of what we are thinking, watching, and listening to\u2014will begin to change our thoughts and behavior patterns. \u00a0It will not be given to us. \u00a0We will have to focus on what is right.<\/p>\n
