\u00a0Have there been storms in your life so dark that you couldn\u2019t see your next step? \u00a0<em><strong>Who,<\/strong><\/em> or what, do you rely on during those times?<\/p>\n<p>I know in my life it\u2019s not<em><strong> if<\/strong> but <strong>when<\/strong><\/em> my heart is overwhelmed and <em>when<\/em>\u00a0the storms of life come. \u00a0None of us are immune to troubles; after all, we live in a fallen world where sin abounds. \u00a0Thankfully, from the time I was born I was taught about the love of God through Jesus, and at an early age I accepted Jesus as my Savior. \u00a0(Read <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=john+3%3A16-17&amp;version=NASB;NLT;NIV;AMP;ESV\" target=\"_blank\">John 3:16-17<\/a>.)\u00a0\u00a0That certainly didn\u2019t take away all the bad stuff that life brings, but it did give me Someone to look to for love and security. \u00a0And that has been my foundation when \u201c<em><span style=\"color: #800080;\">the road ahead gets steep\u201d<\/span><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> or the<\/span><em><span style=\"color: #800080;\"> \u201cmountains high or valleys low<\/span><\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve had some very dark days when I couldn\u2019t see my next step. During those times \u201c<span style=\"color: #800080;\"><em>I&#8217;ll remind myself of all that You&#8217;ve done,<\/em><em>\u00a0and the life I have\u00a0because of Your Son<\/em><\/span>.\u201d \u00a0The love of God rescued me as a child from sin and death, and His love continues to rescue me. Why? Because I am His!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">But God is so rich in mercy, and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">He loved us so much<\/span>,<br \/>\nthat even though we were dead because of our sins,<br \/>\nHe gave us life when He raised Christ from the dead.<br \/>\n(It is only by God\u2019s grace that you have been saved!)<br \/>\nEphesians 2:4-5<\/p>\n<p>The following passage is a little long, but please take time to read it with a <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Comic Sans MS', sans-serif;\">listening<\/span><\/strong> heart. \u00a0When you do, I believe your &#8216;mountain&#8217; won\u2019t seem too high, because of the reassurance that you are God\u2019s and \u00a0that NOTHING can separate you from His love.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? \u00a0If God is for us, who can ever be against us?<span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"line-height: 24px;\"><b>\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span>Since He did not spare even His own Son but gave Him up for us all, won\u2019t He also give us everything else? \u00a0&#8230;Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and He is sitting in the place of honor at God\u2019s right hand, pleading for us.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Can anything ever separate us from Christ\u2019s love? \u00a0Does it mean He no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? \u00a0&#8230;No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, Who loved us.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God\u2019s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow\u2014not even the powers of hell can separate us from God\u2019s love.\u00a0No power in the sky above or in the earth below\u2014indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">from Romans 8:31-39<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Your unfailing love will last forever.<br \/>\nYour faithfulness is as enduring as the heavens.<br \/>\nPsalm 89:2<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I am so thankful to sing:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><em>Love came down and rescued me<\/em><em><br \/>\nLove came down and set me free<br \/>\nI am Yours<br \/>\nI am forever Yours<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Comic Sans MS', sans-serif;\"><strong>\u00a0Are you singing with me?
