Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, <\/span>
\nWho according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again <\/span>
\nto a living HOPE through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, <\/span>
\nto obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled <\/span>
\nand will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, <\/span>
\nwho are protected by the power of God through faith <\/span>
\nfor a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.<\/span>

Did you just read what Peter said? \u00a0We have a living hope\u00a0<\/em>to an\u00a0imperishable inheritance<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0through Jesus’ resurrection<\/em> from the dead. \u00a0<\/em>AND it is a place reserved in heaven<\/em> with Jesus and our Father. \u00a0What a great promise we have!<\/p>\n

We all have a hope to be with God in Heaven one day. \u00a0As we have accepted Christ as our Lord and Savior we will be there. \u00a0It is like waiting to go on a long-awaited trip, or finally being able to accomplish a dream.<\/p>\n

The Jewish people have hope for their Messiah to come, one of a conquering one. \u00a0We know the Messiah has already arrived. \u00a0Our job is to pray for the people of Israel to realize Jesus as their Messiah and to demonstrate to them who we are in believing in Jesus.<\/p>\n

With the rebirth of Israel as a nation in 1948, the people have begun resettling the land which God promised would happen.<\/p>\n

For behold, I am going to raise up a shepherd in the land
\nwho will not care for the perishing, seek the scattered<\/span>,
\nheal the broken, or sustain the one standing,
\nbut will devour the flesh of the fat sheep and tear off their hoofs.
\nZechariah 11:16<\/div>\n

God has a plan and has given hope to His people—from selecting Abraham and Sarah, to bringing the people out of captivity in Egypt, to David being chosen as king. \u00a0God has a plan to bring us to Him as His own. \u00a0Our hope is in Him and He is attainable.<\/div>\n
