\nand\u00a0that the Spirit of God dwells in you?<\/span>
\n1 Corinthians 3:16<\/span><\/p>\n

*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0 \u2665 \u00a0 ~\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u271e\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0\u2665 \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 *<\/span><\/p>\n

This week, here on the Seeking Him<\/em><\/strong><\/span> devotional blog, Ann, Ahmee, Cynda and Tina have reminded us that we ARE a temple, a sanctuary that God chooses to dwell in. \u00a0 In light of the importance of this subject, and the fact that we desperately need God’s help to do this, I would like to repost the humble prayers that our sisters included in their devotionals this week. \u00a0May each of us be drawn into a closer relationship with Almighty God recognizing the privilege of living as a sanctuary and a temple for Him.<\/p>\n

*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0 \u2665 \u00a0 ~\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u271e\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0\u2665 \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 *<\/span><\/p>\n

Cynda<\/strong><\/span>‘s prayer in Living Sanctuary…<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Father, gently remind me that Your Spirit permanently dwells in me. \u00a0Let my actions reflect that I am a sacred and holy place. \u00a0Taking care of Your temple, Your sanctuary is in itself an act of worship and gratitude. \u00a0Thank You for being there\u2026a proven help when I struggle. \u00a0I am so thankful Your mercies are new each day and that I do not have to do this on my own. \u00a0In Jesus\u2019 name I pray, Amen \u2013 It is so!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In Spiritual Temple<\/strong><\/em>, Ann<\/strong>\u00a0pray<\/span><\/span>ed….<\/p>\n

Dear Lord, thank You for giving us this insight that our bodies are Your temple and the Holy Spirit dwells in it. \u00a0We feel honored to be loved in such a way! \u00a0However we confess our sins of not doing the right things at the right time with our bodies. \u00a0Cleanse us with hyssop; let us be whiter than snow. \u00a0We pray for new beginnings in Jesus\u2019 name. \u00a0Amen.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In Sanctuary<\/strong><\/em>, Tina<\/strong> <\/span>prayed…<\/p>\n

Father, I thank You again for Your wonderful example of how to trust You and how to seek You in all things. \u00a0Forgive us when we forget to seek You first. \u00a0Holy Spirit, come back to us! \u00a0Do not grow weary with our stubbornness to not seek You first. \u00a0We need you\u2014like a headstrong child needs a patient, loving, and caring parent\u2014be there with us. \u00a0We want to have solid food from our Father. \u00a0In Jesus\u2019 name we pray, Amen.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Lord, help us to be good stewards of the body that you have provided in whatever fashion that looks like in your eyes for us. Help us to have open minds and to seek your guidance in how you would have us care for this gift you have given us.
