Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] <\/span>
\nand have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], <\/span>
\nbecause He who lives in you <\/span>
\nis greater (mightier) than he who is in the world.<\/span>

This week, here on the Seeking Him<\/em><\/span> devotional blog, our sisters have been encouraging us with this Truth. \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Here are a few highlights from the devotionals that Tina, Laura, Cynda,\u00a0and Ahmee wrote earlier this week.<\/p>\n

*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0 \u2665 \u00a0 ~\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u271e\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0\u2665 \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 *<\/span><\/p>\n

In Success<\/em>, Cynda<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0did a Biblical word search on ‘success’ and shared a number of verses with us. \u00a0She wrote of a common struggle we have:<\/p>\n

“All of us want success. \u00a0Yet so many times we get bogged down and frustrated. \u00a0Why? \u00a0We forget to let God lead. \u00a0We forget He is always with us. \u00a0We forget He is greater than anything we could come up against.”<\/p>\n

(And then reminded us of the truth:)<\/p>\n

“Who<\/strong><\/span> brings about our success? God<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\nWhy<\/strong><\/span>? Because we seek His guidance and leadership
\nHow<\/strong><\/span>? Because God is Greater than he who is in the world”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u2766<\/span><\/h2>\n

In Who You Are<\/em>, Ahmee\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>shared some things that have been happening in her life and the struggles she has been going through. \u00a0She\u00a0shared some good encouragement about what we choose to believe about ourselves.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Be mindful of the spoken words you choose to believe about yourself. John 8:44 says that the devil is \u2018the father of lies\u2019. \u00a0The people we encounter may not be of the devil or demons, but their words can be used to plant seeds that Satan will use against us. \u00a0Anything time you choose to believe words spoken about yourself, first test it against the Word of God. \u00a0God has the final say about who you are<\/strong>, because He made you. \u00a0God is greater than Satan. \u00a0He will always be greater than Satan. Therefore, His Word is always going to be greater than anything Satan could have to say about us<\/em><\/span>. \u00a0Test the words you hear, against the Almighty\u2019s words. ”<\/p>\n

In Living In Us<\/em>, Tina<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0 shared a very good question:<\/p>\n

“How to be in the world<\/em> but not of the world<\/em><\/strong>. \u00a0We strive everyday to live in a fallen world\u2026surrounded by hate, mistrust, deception, malice, negative thoughts, and backbiting. \u00a0We are guilty of it no matter how hard we may try to remove ourselves from it.<\/p>\n

The question is, how<\/strong><\/em> do we live\u00a0in<\/em><\/span> the world but not of<\/span> the world ?
\nBy inviting the Holy Spirit to live in<\/em> us<\/strong><\/span>.”<\/p>\n

\u2766<\/span><\/h2>\n

In Weapons of God,<\/em> Laura<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0shared an experience and how it reminded her of Who is living in her and how that protects us.<\/p>\n

“This past weekend I had the joy of enjoying the Priscilla Shirer simulcast…her topic was on the armor of God.<\/p>\n

God is greater than all in the world. \u00a0He is greater than man and greater than all disasters and sin on the earth. \u00a0It is hard to protect ourselves from the world. \u00a0Yet, when we accept God we are from God. He sends us to spread His message, and we must be prepared. \u00a0The armor of God is a set of weapons that we can use to protect ourselves with and be part of the one who is greater than us.”<\/p>\n
