Many of you have gone on Spring Break or are anticipating taking a vacation this summer. \u00a0It is a time to refresh spirit, soul, and body. \u00a0Over the next couple of weeks, our faithful bloggers will be taking a \u2018spring break\u2019 from writing so that they can come back to us refreshed and freshly anointed. <\/span>
\nHowever, Girlfriends\u2019 Coffee Hour website won\u2019t \u2018go black\u2019! \u00a0We will be revisiting some of our favorite blogs and daily devotions which have blessed us in the past. \u00a0We pray that each of you, our faithful friends and readers, will continue to start your day meditating on the devotionals and songblogs, and be encouraged and blessed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s give each of our bloggers a big round of applause,<\/span>

\nThe signposts of GOD are clear and point out the right road.<\/span>
\nThe life-maps of GOD are right, showing the way to joy.<\/span>
\nThe directions of GOD are plain and easy on the eyes.<\/span>
\nGOD\u2019s reputation is twenty-four-carat gold, with a lifetime guarantee.<\/span>
\nThe decisions of GOD are accurate down to the nth degree.<\/span>
\nPsalms 19:7-9 MSG<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Many objects, people and organizations claim to have the ultimate solution for life. These things slip in and take hold of our lives attempting to show us a better way. Thing is\u2014your paycheck, your boss, and your job do not<\/strong> hold the key to life. These things didn\u2019t make you and they couldn\u2019t possibly tell you what path to follow and what choices to make. One Being, and one alone, knows all that the world could hold. And that very same Being created both you and me. As Job said, \u201cThe Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life\u201d (Job 33:4). Isaiah advised, \u201cDon\u2019t put your trust in mere humans. They are as frail as breath. What good are they?\u201d (Isaiah 2:22).<\/p>\n

When I first researched Psalms19:7-9 in the Message Translation, I was taken aback. The way this version explains these verses is amazing. \u201cThe revelation of God is whole and pulls our lives together<\/em>.\u201d Wow\u2026if you sit and think on it\u2026how simple, but profound, is this statement. Not just knowing about or being aware of, but the revelation of God basically makes everything right and complete. \u201cThe signposts of God are clear and point out the right road.<\/em>\u201d Truthfully, I don\u2019t find this to be so simple, but then again, in my human ways, I have been known to\u2026 (putting it nicely) complicate things. \u201cThe life-maps of God are right, showing the way to joy.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n

Notice these verses say nothing about any other thing in this world\u2014but God. God has the answer<\/strong> to everything. \u00a0He\u00a0IS\u00a0the answer to everything<\/strong>.<\/em> Nothing is impossible for the Lord. What other way could there possibly be, if God is the answer to everything? \u00a0There is no other way. All other ways are false and a waste of time. THE Way is the way. Jesus said it best in John 14:6: \u201cJesus answered, \u2018I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.\u201d<\/p>\n

I know I\u2019ve said this before, but it is so important and imperative for us to remember, that the only One who knows our path is the Lord<\/strong>. Yes, I do believe that He can, and will, place people in our lives to help us, listen to us, and guide us. \u00a0But these people cannot replace the Maker. If we constantly are leaning on our physical helpers\u2026and not taking the time to spend time with God and hear His voice\u2026then we aren\u2019t hurting anyone but ourselves. No person can have a relationship with God for us. This means our parents, our friends, our pastor, our spouses, our children\u2014none of these can have a relationship with Christ for us.<\/p>\n
