\u00a0It seems to me that, whenever we see the grace of our Father being poured out, His love is evident also.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son,<br \/>\nthat whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.<br \/>\nJohn 3:16<\/p>\n<p>God had a plan\u2026He made a way\u2026for the redemption of all mankind. \u00a0Nothing but the grace (and, oh yes, the mercy!) of God manifested through the sacrifice of Jesus could have ever been enough to give us eternal, everlasting life. \u00a0 Throughout the ages, God\u2019s<span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong><em> love and grace<\/em><\/strong><\/span> kept His plan from being destroyed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">He has saved us and called us to a holy life\u2014not because of anything we have done<br \/>\nbut because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus<br \/>\nbefore the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed<br \/>\nthrough the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death<br \/>\nand has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.<br \/>\n2 Timothy 1:9-10<\/p>\n<p>The apostle Paul was a man who purposed to magnify and speak well of the grace and mercy which he had received. Paul was humbly and completely aware that \u2018<em>grace flowed down and covered<\/em>\u2019 him!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u2026and the grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.<br \/>\nThe saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance,<br \/>\nthat Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.<br \/>\nBut I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost,<br \/>\nJesus Christ might display His perfect patience as an example<br \/>\nto those who were to believe in Him for eternal life.<br \/>\n1 Timothy 1:14-16<\/p>\n<p>In all of Paul\u2019s encouragement and admonition through each of the Epistles, he wrote over and over again to the first century believers of the greatness of God\u2019s grace. Paul seemed always to endeavor to help the people (and us, too!) to remain aware and thankful for God\u2019s <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong><em>love and grace<\/em><\/strong><\/span>!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world,<br \/>\nthat we should be holy and without blame before Him in love:<br \/>\nHaving predestinated us unto the adoption of children<br \/>\nby Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,<br \/>\nTo the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved.<br \/>\nIn whom we have redemption through His blood,<br \/>\nthe forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace;<br \/>\nEphesians 1:4-7<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">But God\u2014so rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy<br \/>\nthe great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us,<br \/>\nEven when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses,<br \/>\nHe made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ;<br \/>\n[He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life<br \/>\nwith which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved<br \/>\n(delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ\u2019s salvation).<br \/>\nAnd He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together<br \/>\n[giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere<br \/>\n[by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).<br \/>\nHe did this that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come<br \/>\nthe immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace<br \/>\n(His unmerited favor) in [His] kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus.<br \/>\nFor it is by free grace (God\u2019s unmerited favor) that you are saved<br \/>\n(delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ\u2019s salvation) through [your] faith.<br \/>\nAnd this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing,<br \/>\nit came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;<br \/>\nEphesians 2:4-8 AMP<\/p>\n<p>Take a moment, would you, and just read that out loud to yourself\u2026or go<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=ephesians%202%3A4-8&amp;version=ESV;NASB;NIV;KJV;HCSB\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a0here<\/a>\u00a0and listen to it in a few different versions.<\/p>\n<p>You and I have been so overwhelmingly covered by God\u2019s free grace! \u00a0Each of us, I am sure, has story after story to relate of the<em> <strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">love and grace<\/span><\/strong><\/em> that God has shown to us. \u00a0Would you share with us one time when God\u2019s <em><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>grace (and love)<\/strong><\/span><\/em> flowed down upon you? \u00a0Please tell us below in the comments; we will all be so encouraged!<\/p>\n<p>May I finish here today, speaking a blessing (written in the book of 2nd John) \u00a0over each of you!<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Grace, mercy, and peace will be with us, from God the Father <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\">and from Jesus Christ the Father\u2019s Son, in truth and love. <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\">verse 3<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Many of you have gone on Spring Break or are anticipating taking a vacation this summer. \u00a0It is a time to refresh spirit, soul, and body. \u00a0Over the next couple of weeks, our faithful bloggers will be taking a \u2018spring break\u2019 from writing so that they can come back to us refreshed and freshly anointed.
