It is a time to refresh spirit, soul, and body. Over the next couple of weeks, our faithful bloggers will be taking a \u2018spring break\u2019 from writing so that they can come back to us refreshed and freshly anointed.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Comic Sans MS', sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"> However, Girlfriends\u2019 Coffee Hour website won\u2019t \u2018go black\u2019! We will be revisiting some of our favorite blogs and daily devotions which have blessed us in the past. And even when we do, sometimes we <strong><em>still<\/em> <\/strong>get knocked for a loop. \u00a0It is difficult to keep getting back up when you get knocked down repeatedly. \u00a0I read a Scripture that totally changed my whole perspective on this. \u00a0Take a look at 2 Corinthians 4:10-11 (AMP):<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Always carrying about in the body the liability and exposure<br \/>\nto the same putting to death that the Lord Jesus suffered,<br \/>\nso that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be shown forth by and in our bodies.<br \/>\nFor we who live are constantly [experiencing] being handed over to death<br \/>\nfor Jesus\u2019 sake, that the [resurrection] life of Jesus<br \/>\nalso may be evidenced through our flesh which is liable to death.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I read this and had a \u201clight bulb\u201d moment. \u00a0<em>Because we are believers and followers of Christ, we carry Jesus\u2019 death and Resurrection within us!<\/em>\u00a0 The attacks we incur, the battles we fight are where we share in the death of Jesus. \u00a0If satan knocks me down, he may have won that battle but <em>Jesus has already won the war.<\/em> \u00a0Every time we rise up from defeat\u2014whether it is perceived or real\u2014we share in the Resurrection and ultimate victory of Jesus. \u00a0We can rise again because Jesus has already done it and we carry Him within ourselves.<\/p>\n<p>As I was mediating on all of this, the song \u201cRise Again\u201d came to mind. \u00a0But I was hearing it and singing it in a whole new light. \u00a0Since I have a personal relationship with Christ, it doesn\u2019t matter if people laugh at me or mock me. It doesn\u2019t matter if I get knocked down or thrown for a loop. \u201c<em><span style=\"color: #800080;\">I will be free<\/span><\/em>\u2026.\u201d \u201c\u2026<em><span style=\"color: #800080;\">no power on earth can tie me down<\/span><\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For me, this revelation was earth-shattering and life-changing. \u00a0The storms will be easier to bear, and the attacks easier to survive because I know Jesus has already been there. \u00a0He has paved my way in victory and His victory is manifested in me. \u00a0<em><strong>Hallelujah!!!!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Many of you have gone on Spring Break or are anticipating taking a vacation this summer.
