and they realize that it really wasn\u2019t what they expected. \u00a0And yes, it is a mystery because no one can see the real road ahead. \u00a0If you grew up in the times when our moms watched their \u201cstories,\u201d (television soap operas) you would really have a totally different idea of marriage, of sunset walks, and dancing around the room before you go to bed. \u00a0However, the real picture may actually look like the wife walking out the door and taking a walk by herself because she cannot remember what she saw or what she was thinking that day she said \u201cI do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But<em><strong> God<\/strong> <\/em>is the Inventor of marriage. \u00a0He knows that we are human and imperfect, as well as that two are better than one\u2026no matter how hard the road. \u00a0Because one falls down and then the other picks them up. \u00a0We have someone that always has our best interest at heart. \u00a0And we have each other to lean on and laugh with and seek His will together.<\/p>\n<p>What if we listened to this song and thought about our relationship with God? WE are His bride and He is our groom. We say \u2018yes\u2019 to this relationship and He lifts the veil between us and we are one.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes the walk is easy, fun, and exciting\u2014full of good moments. \u00a0Other times are really hard, walking in a valley just waiting and waiting to finally see the mountaintop. But all along, He never leaves us. \u00a0Just like in a marriage, when the hard times come\u2014we don\u2019t walk out or call it quits. \u00a0We keep seeking Him and we still love Him and, like a husband, He always wants what is best for us.<\/p>\n<p>When you are listening today, what are you thinking of, who comes to mind? Basically, we are broken and together we can all be broken together. God can and will heal what is broken and He can fulfill each one of us just by walking with us. And oh! <em>how He loves us<\/em>! \u00a0So today, if this hit home to you, I pray that God\u2019s grace will wash over you like rain and that if you\u2019re married and things aren\u2019t what you thought, hold on and seek the One that can make all things new..and praise Him for all the miracles and blessings He has given you. And in marriage, You give us grace and mercy to live out our vows.
