TRUTH<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n Today, we are going to start with truth.\u00a0 If we don\u2019t know what TRUTH is, then we won\u2019t know what a LIE is when we see it or hear it.\u00a0 \u201cSatan would love for us to believe the lie of \u201cnot good enough.\u201d (A Daughter\u2019s Worth, p. 32)\u00a0<\/em><\/strong> If Satan can distract us from the TRUTH of who God made us to be, then we feel like we are not good enough.\u00a0 Feelings are deceptive, so we need to know what truth is before our feelings get involved.\u00a0 Sometimes we need to tell our emotions what we KNOW is true so we don\u2019t get distracted.<\/p>\n Look at 2 Corinthians 11:3:\u00a0 I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent\u2019s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ.\u00a0 <\/i>Eve was created perfectly, by our perfect God.\u00a0 She walked in the Garden and talked with God personally.\u00a0 It was only when Satan began to mess with her head that she began to doubt who she was created to be.\u00a0 We need to know who we are in Christ so that when doubt creeps in, we don\u2019t believe the LIES that will destroy our hearts.\u00a0 If Eve could be so easily deceived, we should not think that we can resist the devil when he wants to sneak those bad thoughts into our heads.\u00a0 We have to know the truth about what and who He says we are.\u00a0 We find out what God sees in us by getting to know him by reading his word and talking to him.<\/p>\n One of the neatest things about having eight daughters is that I have proof of how God can make us so individual, unique and BEAUTIFUL.\u00a0 No two daughters are alike, but they are all the same.\u00a0 God has gifted them in very different ways.\u00a0 I don\u2019t expect them to react the same way, be good at the same subjects in school, wear the same style of clothes, or reach the same kind of people as their sisters.\u00a0 Wherever we go, we bring a party.\u00a0 Some are planners, some are preparers, some are entertainment, but ALL of them are fun.\u00a0 Sometimes one will be feeling down and we try to show her how blessed she is and how accepted she is.\u00a0 We acknowledge her feelings, but emphasize the TRUTH<\/span> of the matter.<\/p>\n When one of my girls says, \u201cI\u2019m not smart enough\u201d, it usually means \u2013 I wish I was smarter or had made better choices.\u00a0 Then we talk about how we can choose better next time.\u00a0 When they say \u201cI\u2019m not pretty\u201d, it usually means they are comparing themselves to someone else, or someone has made fun of some part of them that day.\u00a0 Those days we talk about what makes them unique and how no other daughter on the face of the planet can be them.\u00a0 When one of my girls thinks they have no talent or special gifts they are usually thinking about someone they admire who is gifted in a certain area and has not looked at the ways God has gifted them to serve.\u00a0 We are all unique!!!!! \u00a0God made each of us special!\u00a0 There could never be a more beautiful you than you are to your Heavenly Father.\u00a0 When you feel those doubts creep in, and they will creep in<\/i>, push them out with the TRUTH of God\u2019s Word.<\/p>\n \u201cProtect the Father\u2019s truth with everything you have.\u00a0 How?\u00a0 When Satan tries to distract you, confront the lie with scripture, combat deceit with prayer, and ignore the negative messages that Satan suggests.\u00a0 Thank God for His TRUTH.\u00a0 Ask Him to HELP you, His precious daughter, to EMBRACE (believe) it.\u201d (p. 33)<\/p>\n Let’s PRAY:<\/strong><\/p>\n We thank you Father\u00a0that you have called us daughters.\u00a0 We thank you for sending your\u00a0Son to us to enable us to refute the lies of the enemy of our souls.\u00a0 Help us to recognize your voice.\u00a0 \u00a0We love you Father.\u00a0 Help us to ACCEPT your love.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 AMEN<\/p>\n \u201cAnd because you are sons (DAUGHTERS), God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, \u201cABBA!
