{"id":24020,"date":"2015-01-20T00:20:55","date_gmt":"2015-01-20T05:20:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/?p=24020"},"modified":"2015-01-19T11:56:22","modified_gmt":"2015-01-19T16:56:22","slug":"faith-brings-peace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/wordpress\/2015\/01\/20\/faith-brings-peace\/","title":{"rendered":"Faith That Brings Peace"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/SeekingHimLogo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13840\" src=\"http:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/SeekingHimLogo.jpg\" alt=\"SeekingHimLogo\" width=\"560\" height=\"280\" srcset=\"https:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/SeekingHimLogo.jpg 560w, https:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/SeekingHimLogo-300x150.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #008080;\">Then He said to her, &#8220;Daughter, your faith has healed you. <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008080;\">Go in peace and freed from suffering.&#8221;<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008080;\">Mark 5:34<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Jesus went about doing good in His ministry. \u00a0Each and every time He healed the sick, He would release them with some grace.<\/p>\n<p>In our Scripture reference today we see the lady being healed and at the end Jesus said, \u201cYour faith has healed you, go in peace and freed from suffering.\u201d \u00a0In this Scripture we see that if it wasn\u2019t for faith this lady would not have benefitted from the presence of Jesus on earth. \u00a0You know what, sisters\u2014we can attain all things when we have faith.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Faith is the substance of things hoped for&#8230;.<br \/>\nHebrews 11:1 KJV<\/p>\n<p>This lady knew that \u2018if only I can touch Jesus\u2019 hem of His garments&#8230;all will be well for me.\u2019 \u00a0She took a step of faith and broke protocols of that time by maneuvering through the crowd and found herself amidst the disciples (men) and touched Jesus.<\/p>\n<p>On its own, it was not proper for a woman to be brushing shoulders with men; she didn\u2019t mind what people would say about her. \u00a0All she was concerned with was that she would be healed. \u00a0I therefore urge each one of us to be a people of vision. \u00a0Let us also ask ourselves these questions below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What is it that we want God to do for us<\/li>\n<li>How are we drawing near to Him for Him to help us<\/li>\n<li>How much time do we have for God<\/li>\n<li>Do we believe He can do it<\/li>\n<li>How great is He to heal us and free us from suffering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are times we need to fast, pray, and believe God for a miracle. \u00a0As well as have faith that whatsoever we pray for we shall have it (Mark 11:24-25). \u00a0Sometimes we just need to make bold decisions. Such as going for \u2018Esther-type\u2019 of prayer when you have husband at home whom we can\u2019t deny matrimonial rights. \u00a0Except for the time of fasting (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=1+corinthians+7%3A5&amp;version=AMP;ESV;NIV;KJV;NASB\" target=\"_blank\">1 Corinthians 7:5<\/a>) you excuse yourself to that.<\/p>\n<p>We see also this type of faith in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=mark%2010%3A46-52&amp;version=AMP;ESV;NIV;KJV;NASB\" target=\"_blank\">Mark 10:52<\/a>\u00a0where Jesus healed blind Bartimeaus, who later followed Jesus. Let us follow Jesus always\u2014we know what He is capable of doing! \u00a0Let us not doubt anything.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #008080;\"> *\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0 \u2665 \u00a0 ~\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u271e\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0\u2665 \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 * <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Dear Lord, thank You for Your Word at the right time. \u00a0Thank You for You made it possible for us to study these Scriptures which show us how great You are and that you operate well when we have faith. \u00a0We thank You for You stand by Your Word that without faith we can\u2019t please You. \u00a0As You are pleased with our faith, Lord, do unto us what we need not&#8230;what we want. \u00a0We ask all this in Jesus\u2019 name Amen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Then He said to her, &#8220;Daughter, your faith has healed you.
