We think, when we are in trouble, that we get ease by complaining; but we do get more&#8212;we get joy, by praising.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&#8211; Matthew Henry<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>It is so easy to complain, isn&#8217;t it? \u00a0We feel things aren&#8217;t going our way or things should be different or things should be better. \u00a0I agree with Matthew Henry&#8230;we do get more when we praise God than when we complain. When we choose praise, we stop being a Debbie Downer and our joy is suddenly bubbling to the top.<\/p>\n<p>When I feel the urge to complain, I need to look back at what God has done and trust Him for today. Look at Psalm 52:9 (HCSB) &#8220;I will praise You <em><strong><span style=\"color: #800080;\">forever<\/span> <\/strong><\/em>for what You have done.
