\n1 Corinthians 11:1<\/p>\n

Over the past couple of weeks, I have been remembering what it has been like the past year, and over the past years as well. \u00a0I think about all the busy times and down times my family has had, and I remember many things that happened in my childhood. Needless to say, our children\u2019s childhood is turning out much different.<\/p>\n

Technology has evolved. \u00a0I had cassettes, records, and saw the birth of CDs. \u00a0My children have CDs and mp3. \u00a0Computers have always been here for them. \u00a0Pay at the pump has always existed. \u00a0Debit cards have always existed. \u00a0Technology has changed but so has the world.<\/p>\n

Growing up, Jesus was a more prominent part of most people\u2019s lives. \u00a0The Nativity wasn\u2019t attacked. \u00a0The Ten Commandments weren\u2019t under attack either. \u00a0You hardly ever heard about anything like the current persecution that is occurring today. \u00a0About the only thing people couldn\u2019t do was pray in school.<\/p>\n

The world is changing before our eyes. More and more people are losing their way and not following Christ. They are living in the world. Many people are starting to ignore God and refuse the good news of Christ. Our world is starting to crumble.<\/p>\n

I think of all this, and I do realize that this is all part of Biblical prophecy. \u00a0We are living in the end times. \u00a0The best thing I can do is to follow Christ with all my heart and try to live as He expects me to do\u2014day in and day out. \u00a0Maybe by doing this I can be an example to those who are living in the world but want something that the world cannot give them.<\/p>\n

As the New Year approaches, I hope that I can grow closer to Jesus as the world continues to live in chaos. \u00a0Life will be busy and hectic. \u00a0Time will go by as quickly as it always does, but God comes (as He always<\/strong> should) first. \u00a0I will continue to pray. \u00a0I hope that all out there can do the same.<\/p>\n
