{"id":23266,"date":"2014-12-09T00:20:46","date_gmt":"2014-12-09T05:20:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/?p=23266"},"modified":"2014-12-08T21:03:38","modified_gmt":"2014-12-09T02:03:38","slug":"peace-passes-understanding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/wordpress\/2014\/12\/09\/peace-passes-understanding\/","title":{"rendered":"Peace Which Passes All Understanding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/SHpeaceluke1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-23226\" src=\"http:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/SHpeaceluke1.jpg\" alt=\"SHpeaceluke1\" width=\"552\" height=\"291\" srcset=\"https:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/SHpeaceluke1.jpg 552w, https:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/SHpeaceluke1-300x158.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 552px) 100vw, 552px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And the <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>peace<\/strong><\/span> of God, which passeth all understanding,<br \/>\nshall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.<br \/>\nPhilippians 4:7<\/p>\n<p>This <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">peace<\/span> <\/strong>I am talking about involves a firm conviction that Jesus is near and that God\u2019s love will be active in our lives for good (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=romans%208%3A28-32&amp;version=ESV;NASB;NIV;AMP;KJV\" target=\"_blank\">Romans 8:28, 32<\/a>). \u00a0How do I prove this sentence?<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">God gave us His only begotten Son, and allowed Him to die on the Cross for us\u2014what a loving God He is! \u00a0He saw that with the all the sin around us, we are not at peace. \u00a0Sin robs us of <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">peace<\/span> <\/strong>but righteousness bring joy and peace in our hearts always.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>What does this <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>peace<\/strong> <\/span>of God do in our lives?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When we call on God from hearts that remain in Christ and His Word, then God\u2019s <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>peace<\/strong> <\/span>will flood our troubled souls. \u00a0Are you troubled? \u00a0Then please allow the <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>peace<\/strong><\/span> of God to be present in you through Christ our Lord.<\/li>\n<li>It is as an inner reality mediated by the Holy Spirit (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=romans+8%3A15-16&amp;version=ESV;NASB;NIV;AM\" target=\"_blank\">Romans 8:15-16<\/a>). And we all know that the Holy Spirit is our Counselor, Comforter, etc. \u00a0Therefore we can rest assured that through the Holy Spirit\u2019s mediation we are going to be at <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">peace<\/span><\/strong> even in times of the roughest storms and raging wars.<\/li>\n<li>This <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>peace<\/strong> <\/span>is going to stand guard at the door of our hearts and mind, preventing the cares and worries of this life which undermine our hope in Christ.<\/li>\n<li>If fear and anxiety does return, than through prayer, petition, and thanksgiving we will once again be placed us under the <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">peace<\/span> <\/strong>of God that guards our hearts.<\/li>\n<li>It makes us feel safe and rejoice in the Lord.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Lord gives us <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>peace<\/strong><\/span>, good friends. \u00a0I therefore pray to God for you that He would turn His face toward you and give you <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>peace<\/strong><\/span>. \u00a0We need <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">peace<\/span> <\/strong>in all areas of our lives (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=numbers+6%3A26&amp;version=ESV;NASB;NIV;AMP;K\" target=\"_blank\">Numbers 6:26<\/a>). \u00a0Others are thinking how will they pay their bills; and God has sent me today to tell you that He is making a covenant of <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>peace<\/strong><\/span> with you (<a href=\"http:\/\/https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=numbers+25%3A12&amp;version=ESV;NASB;NIV;AMP;KJV\" target=\"_blank\">Numbers 25:12<\/a>). And a heart at <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">peace<\/span> <\/strong>gives life to the body (Proverbs 14:30).<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">* \u00a0\u00a0\u2665 \u00a0~ \u00a0\u271d \u00a0~ \u00a0\u2605\u00a0 \u00a0 *<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Lord, I thank You for the <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>peace<\/strong> <\/span>that passes all understanding. \u00a0I thank You for the <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>peace<\/strong> <\/span>I have within me that is moving me from one level of glory to the other. \u00a0I really appreciate You, Abba Father, for this is not only unto me it is also to my friends who are reading this devotion. \u00a0May You give us the grace of increased faith in You which will bring <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>peace<\/strong> <\/span>into our hearts. \u00a0May our hope be in You as You are <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><em><strong>PEACE<\/strong> <\/em><\/span>Yourself, Lord. \u00a0Blessed be Your name now and forever more. \u00a0In Jesus\u2019 name, I pray. \u00a0Amen!!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
