In myself I’ve failed the Lord<\/span>
\n Then was afraid to try once more<\/span>
\n That fire in my soul had fled<\/span>
\n That’s when Jesus came and said<\/span><\/p>\n

My spirit gives the strength you need<\/span>
\n To raise you up and to succeed<\/span>
\n And for vision in the night<\/span>
\n To you, I’ll give these words of light<\/span><\/p>\n

Fear not, my child<\/span><\/em>
\n I’m with you always<\/span><\/em>
\n I feel every pain<\/span><\/em>
\n And every tear I see<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

\n I know how to care<\/span><\/em>
\n For what belongs to me<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

He said, My child, don’t look behind<\/span>
\n Discouragement is all you’ll find<\/span>
\n Don’t watch the waves that roll the sea<\/span>
\n But just focus your eyes on Me<\/span><\/p>\n

And I will make you strong and then<\/span>
\n Your shattered courage I will mend<\/span>
\n And if you fall and should get hurt<\/span>
\n Remember these eternal words<\/span><\/p>\n
