While Jesus was preparing His disciples for leaving them, He told them of God\u2019s plan. One thing He said was,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cThese things I have spoken to you while being present with you. But the helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.\u201d<br \/>\nJohn 14: 25 and 26<\/p>\n<p>Jesus promised the disciples that the Holy Spirit would help them remember what He had taught them. The disciples had seen all that Jesus did and heard all that He had taught. \u00a0And, since we too are disciples of our Lord, the Holy Spirit can help us in the same way. \u00a0As we read and study the Scriptures, we can trust that truth will be placed into our hearts by the Holy Spirit as we are taught. \u00a0He will convince and convict us of God\u2019s will, and remind us when we stray from it.<\/p>\n<p>The Holy Spirit does so much for us! \u00a0 True, He does plant truth in our hearts, convince us of God\u2019s will, and remind us when we stray from it&#8230;but the responsibility to DO&#8212;obey&#8212;is ours. \u00a0He reminds&#8230;we obey. \u00a0He guides&#8230;we follow. \u00a0He helps us&#8230;we do what is right.<\/p>\n<p>So, while we surely can (and should!) ask for God\u2019s grace in reminding us through the Holy Spirit\u2019s working in our hearts, I do think we should be responsible to remind ourselves, too! \u00a0A few things that I have purposed to do so that I am reminded are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>daily Bible reading<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips;<br \/>\nmeditate on it day and night,<br \/>\nso that you may be careful to do everything written in it.<br \/>\nJoshua 1:8<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>listening to praise and worship music<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts,<br \/>\nto which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful.<br \/>\nLet the word of Christ richly dwell within you,<br \/>\nwith all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another<br \/>\nwith psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,<br \/>\nsinging with thankfulness in your hearts to God.<br \/>\nColossians 3:15 and 16<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>spending time with other Christians<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,<br \/>\nnot forsaking the assembling of ourselves together,<br \/>\nas is the manner of some, but exhorting one another,<br \/>\nand so much the more as you see the Day approaching.<br \/>\nHebrews 10:24 and 25<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>having Scriptures up as decorations in our home<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And these words which I am commanding you this day<br \/>\nshall be [first] in your [own] minds and hearts;<br \/>\n[then] you shall whet and sharpen them so as to make them penetrate,<br \/>\nand teach and impress them diligently upon the [minds and] hearts of your children,<br \/>\nand shall talk of them when you sit in your house<br \/>\nand when you walk by the way,<br \/>\nand when you lie down and when you rise up.<br \/>\nand you shall bind them as a sign upon your hand,<br \/>\nand they shall be as frontlets (forehead bands) between your eyes.<br \/>\nAnd you shall write them upon the doorposts of your house and on your gates.<br \/>\nDeuteronomy 6:6-9<\/p>\n<p><em>{I would love to hear of ways that you remind yourself about our awesome God!}<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Oh!
