\u00a0You might say it is my life verse. \u00a0Whether I know what the day is going to hold, or not, my desire is to trust my Creator God with every moment of it.<\/p>\n<p>Here are just two of many reasons I desire to trust Him:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Since He is the Beginning and the End, He also knows about everything in-between. \u00a0As believers, this fact should give us a comfort that He\u2019s got it under control.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cI am the Alpha and the Omega\u2014the Beginning and the End,\u201d<br \/>\nsays the Lord God. \u201cI am the One Who is, Who always was,<br \/>\nand Who is still to come\u2014the Almighty One.\u201d<br \/>\nRevelation 1:8<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>He already has a good plan for me! \u00a0Jeremiah 29:11 reassures us with this quote from God Himself,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cFor I know the plans I have for you,\u201d declares the Lord,<br \/>\n\u201cplans to prosper you and not to harm you,<br \/>\nplans to give you hope and a future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s very true that life gets rough and tough, and that makes it hard to keep our focus on God sometimes. \u00a0In those times, oh, how we need to keep listening for His Holy Spirit\u2019s sweet guiding voice, and keep our eyes on Jesus, our Savior and our example. \u00a0Men and women, like Ruth, Esther, Peter, and Paul, are prime examples of those who went through rough times, and yet they followed the leading of God\u2019s Spirit, accomplished God\u2019s plan for their lives, and blessed others along the way.<\/p>\n<p>I have a friend who, for me, has been an example of this verse. \u00a0As a young adult she trusted the Lord, and He prompted her to get her nursing degree. \u00a0She listened, and she watched for doors to be opened and closed according to what God wanted for her life. \u00a0As a single woman she went into dangerous foreign mission fields, because that\u2019s where God led her, and she trusted Him. \u00a0Through the years He also blessed her with a godly husband, and together they continued to go where God \u201c<em>made their paths straight.<\/em>\u201d \u00a0They served Him together on several more mission fields before they retired. \u00a0It sounds glamorous, but there were many rough and tough spots along her\/their path. If they hadn\u2019t trusted the Lord&#8212;if they hadn\u2019t kept their eyes on Him, and their ears open to the Holy Spirit\u2019s leading&#8212;many people would have never heard about Jesus and His love.<\/p>\n<p>My friend is widowed now. \u00a0She has had to make some tough decisions about her future. \u00a0Instead of \u201c<em>leaning on her own understanding,<\/em>\u201d she is trusting the Lord to direct her path. \u00a0She is anticipating that He has more ministry for her to do, and He will carry her through.<\/p>\n<p>In the rough and tough times, I have a tendency to want to control things. \u00a0Since listening to this song and meditating on this Scripture, I must question myself&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Am I really trusting the Lord with all my heart?<br \/>\nAm I really acknowledging His sovereignty<br \/>\nand allowing Him to direct my path?<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>If I can answer &#8216;yes&#8217;
