<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This song touches me on so many levels. \u00a0It reminds me His love is always there for me\u2014to comfort me, to guide me, to anchor me. \u00a0But it also reminds me of something I desperately want \u2013 His love to flow like a river from me.<\/p>\n<p>Galatians 5:6b (NIV) tells us, \u201cThe only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.\u201d \u00a0Since Christ loved us enough to die for us, why is it so hard for us to love others? \u00a0We are repeatedly called to love throughout the New Testament. Ephesians 5:1-2 (AMP) presents it as a lifestyle:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Therefore be imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example] as well-beloved children [imitate their father].<br \/>\nAnd walk in love, [esteeming and delighting in one another] as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>If you look at these verses, it becomes apparent we cannot love on our own.
