{"id":21695,"date":"2014-09-11T00:20:54","date_gmt":"2014-09-11T04:20:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/?p=21695"},"modified":"2014-09-10T23:38:16","modified_gmt":"2014-09-11T03:38:16","slug":"gods-great-love","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/girlfriendscoffeehour.com\/wordpress\/2014\/09\/11\/gods-great-love\/","title":{"rendered":"God&#8217;s Great Love"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"noindent\">Give praise to the Lord, O my soul; let everything in me give praise to His holy name.<\/span> <span class=\"noindent\"><br \/>\nGive praise to the Lord, O my soul; let not all His blessings go from your memory. <span class=\"noindent\"><br \/>\nHe has forgiveness for all your sins; He takes away all your diseases; <span class=\"noindent\"><br \/>\nHe keeps back your life from destruction, crowning you with mercy and grace. <span class=\"noindent\"><br \/>\nHe makes your mouth full of good things, so that your strength is made new again like the eagle&#8217;s.<br \/>\nPsalms 103:1-5<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>These verses are <strong><em>so<\/em> full<\/strong> of promises. \u00a0God loves us so very much. \u00a0He is merciful and quick to forgive us. \u00a0All God requires of us is to love Him and put Him first in our lives. \u00a0Before Abraham knew who God was&#8230;God loved him. Before Moses knew who God was&#8230;God loved him. \u00a0How much more does God love us? \u00a0(I would imagine much more!)<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\">For those who are suffering, who are hurting, when no end seems to be there\u2014know that God sees\u00a0and will give you a renewed strength.<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And it shall come to pass in the day that the Lord shall give thee rest from thy sorrow,<br \/>\nand from thy fear, and from the hard bondage in which thou wast made to serve.<br \/>\nIsaiah 14:3<\/p>\n<p>Who doesn&#8217;t know of someone that these words would minister to? \u00a0There <strong><em>will come<\/em> <\/strong>a time of rejoicing. \u00a0A time when looking back at what was in the past will seem like a forever time ago.<\/p>\n<p>Verse\u00a05 of Psalm 103 refers to the eagle&#8217;s yearly removal of its feathers to\u00a0allow new growth, therefore giving the illusion of youthful vigor. \u00a0How many times\u00a0do we want to remove our troubles, our fears, our chains that bind us to earthly\u00a0worries? \u00a0When we cast them onto God, we can rest assured that He will take care of them. \u00a0When we\u00a0give Him our worries\u00a0we\u00a0should not be quick to take them back and take them on again. If our spouse or child is not doing what they should, it is for us only to live a life that is\u00a0as free of sin as we can. \u00a0We will not be perfect. \u00a0In our human-ness we will fail but, <strong>with God&#8217;s\u00a0grace and mercy<\/strong>, we will be shown how to live.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #37989e;\">*<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #37989e;\">\u00a0~ \u00a0 \u2665 \u00a0 ~\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u271e\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0\u2665 \u00a0 ~ \u00a0 *<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Father, we humbly come before You and ask for direction. \u00a0We do not know how important our words or actions can be until it is sometimes too late. \u00a0We thank You for Your forgiveness. \u00a0We thank You for the ability to start again. \u00a0We pray for the courage to speak words that will build up, not tear down. \u00a0Help us to know when to be silent, and when to be so on fire for You that nothing or no one can stop us. \u00a0Help us be bold and courageous for You. \u00a0In Jesus&#8217; name, Amen!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Give praise to the Lord, O my soul; let everything in me give praise to His holy name.
