\nhow majestic is Your name in all the earth!
\nYou have set Your glory above the heavens.
\nOut of the mouth of babies and infants,
\nYou have established strength because of Your foes,
\nto still the enemy and the avenger.
\nPsalms 8:1-2<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Last week my children were preparing to go to their Nana\u2019s house for the last weeks of summer break. \u00a0(Our son goes back to school on August 5.) \u00a0One morning as my son was rolling around in the bed, I asked him if he was ready to go to Nana\u2019s house for a while. \u00a0He answered, \u201cWe have to go to Nana\u2019s now<\/em> because Jesus will come to get us next year. \u00a0Mommy, when is Jesus coming back to get everybody?\u201d \u00a0Let\u2019s just say, my eyes went wide and my heart jumped for joy!<\/p>\n

No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven,
\nnor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah,
\nso it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
\nMatthew 24:36<\/p>\n

All I could tell my son was that no one knows the day or hour that Jesus will return. \u00a0No one knows. \u00a0However, out of the mouth of a child comes the yearning for Christ. \u00a0It is amazing. \u00a0The kid has been listening even though it sometimes looks like he hasn\u2019t. \u00a0That right there is enough to make a mother happy!<\/p>\n

God is glorious and majestic, even in the eyes of a child. \u00a0My son will be six in a few weeks, but he already knows that Jesus is coming back. \u00a0Most people don\u2019t learn this until they are in the upper elementary school or in middle school. \u00a0Out of the mouths of babes comes part of the story of Christ: He will return! \u00a0Children soak up much in their young lives, and I am glad that mine are soaking up the story of Christ. \u00a0Just like children soak in the story, so should we. \u00a0Just as my son wants to see Jesus, so do I!!!<\/p>\n
