\nPsalm 119: 3<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Walking with God requires us to obey the Word of God. \u00a0Abraham was blessed because he obeyed the Word of God when He wanted Abraham to sacrifice Isaac.<\/p>\n

And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him,
\nAbraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.
\nAnd He said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest,
\nand get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering
\nupon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
\nGenesis 22:1-2<\/p>\n

The Angel acknowledged Abraham\u2019s act of obedience.<\/p>\n

And the angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time from heaven and said,
\n\u201cBy myself I have sworn, declares the Lord, because you have done this
\nand have not withheld your son, your only son,
\nI will surely bless you, and I will surely multiply your offspring
\nas the stars of heaven and as the sand that is on the seashore.
\nVerses 15-17<\/p>\n

The second time Abraham was told where to go and he went there. Guess what? God blessed him with many things and he prospered.<\/p>\n

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,
\nnor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
\nBut his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in His law doth he meditate day and night.
\nAnd he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,
\nthat bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither;
\nand whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
\nPsalms 1: 1-3<\/p>\n

Believers take Abraham as their Father of Faith according to Romans 4:16. \u00a0You will realize that He did not come into being our Father of Faith just like that but he stood on the Word of God and loved to meditate on the Word of God and do as the God’s Word required.<\/p>\n

Remember Psalm 119:105…<\/p>\n

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.<\/p>\n

We can\u2019t walk righteously and be blessed if we divert ourselves from His Word. Let us stand upon the Word of God and do as it is required of a Christian like you and me.<\/p>\n

Father, we thank You for the word that comes to us at the right time. \u00a0We pray for Your spirit to dwell in us all the time; for us to walk in Your ways and do as You want us to do. \u00a0We pray for forgiveness for the times we have done it our way and ended up messing up. \u00a0Forgive us all our iniquities. \u00a0May Your presence be with us always. \u00a0Give us a heart to make more time to meditate on your Word and do as you wish. \u00a0In Jesus\u2019 name, we pray. \u00a0Amen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
