Who can be compared with the Lord our God, who is enthroned on high?
\nHe stoops to look down on heaven and on earth.
\nPsalms 113:5-6<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The high and lofty One who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this:
\nI live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble.
\nI restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts.<\/p>\n

Isaiah 57:15<\/p>\n

He is enthroned on high and He stoops. \u00a0If you imagine God sitting above all the world, then we can fathom \u201cthe high and lofty One.\u201d \u00a0He sits there and watches what He created. \u00a0How easy would it be for Him to be hands off or for us to hear from Him only when He wanted to punish us? \u00a0He could have said, “I have made mankind now let’s see what they can do,” but He does not. \u00a0He stoops.<\/p>\n

God sent His spirit to dwell among us and Jesus to save us from ourselves! \u00a0God is pretty dedicated. \u00a0Not very long at all after we were put to work on the earth, we screwed up God’s perfect creation. \u00a0Disobedience! \u00a0At the start of Creation we already thought we knew better than God and had wavering trust in Him, but He stooped.<\/p>\n

Could you imagine a newborn telling their mom three days after birth, “Oh, it’s been good…but I can actually take better care of myself. \u00a0I mean, I’ve been doing this a whole 3 days, so thanks, but no thanks.” \u00a0That’s crazy! \u00a0Better yet, what loving parent would say, “Oh, okay. I understand.” \u00a0Even though we try to venture out alone, God stays right by our side. \u00a0He stoops. \u00a0If anyone had the right to be proud, it would be God. \u00a0Yet, He stoops.<\/p>\n

What more does a loving God need to do to show His love for you? \u00a0He stooped! When He didn’t have to. \u00a0He came to us, so we could go to Him. \u00a0That’s the caring, loving God we serve. \u00a0Never doubt that He cares because He stoops.<\/p>\n
