How do I<\/strong> <\/em><\/span>impact a nation? \u00a0Not all of us can be Benjamin Franklin, Martin Luther King Jr., or George Washington, so how can I impact a whole nation? \u00a0Think with me for moment…. \u00a0I am one person. \u00a0There are billions of people in this world and tons of nations . I am one person who can barely manage to find time to sleep at night.<\/p>\n

Let them praise the Lord for His great love
\nand for the wonderful things He has done for them.
\nLet them exalt Him publicly before the congregation
\nand before the leaders of the nation.
\nPsalms 107:31-32<\/p>\n

The answer to my question? I<\/strong> <\/em><\/span>cannot impact a nation and show the world my God\u2014without God.<\/p>\n

When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled,
\nordinary men, they were astonished and
\nthey took note that these men had been with Jesus.
\nActs 4:13<\/p>\n

In my mind, the thought of being influential to a nation can be overwhelming. Then again, doing anything<\/em> dependant on my ability alone is overwhelming. \u00a0But with God anything is possible!<\/p>\n

Here’s the thing\u2014God gives us the desires of our hearts. \u00a0God has big plans. \u00a0He picks people who are willing to help. \u00a0Ability is nothing without being available to do the Lord’s will. \u00a0Take a look at what His people can do when we are available!<\/p>\n

So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey\u2014the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them. So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.\u201d But Moses said to God, \u201cWho am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?\u201d<\/p>\n

God sent Moses to free his people. You’ll read further on that Moses wasn’t confident in his ability to speak. \u00a0God is awesome. \u00a0God’s plans are amazing! \u00a0God’s plans are big!<\/p>\n
