\nand proclaim that His name is exalted.

Exalt \u2013<\/h3>\n

to extol, make plain, raise up, lift up glorify<\/h3>\n

The old hymn says, \u201cThe Lord liveth and blessed be my Rock. And let the God of my salvation be exalted\u201d (quoted from Psalm 18:46). \u00a0Because of our salvation and all God has done (is<\/strong><\/em> doing, and will<\/em> <\/strong>do) for us, we should be extolling His virtues, making plain His grace and mercy and, most of all, glorifying Him. \u00a0We are called to do this publicly.<\/p>\n

Beth Moore has a wonderful acronym for the word \u201cSTOP:\u201d<\/p>\n

  • Presence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    If we are observing and savoring God\u2019s Presence in our lives, shouldn\u2019t we be sharing it with others as well? \u00a0As adults, most of us feel like we have outgrown the peer pressure stage. \u00a0But, have we really?<\/strong>\u00a0 How many times have we hesitated to speak up? \u00a0And let fear of embarrassment or ridicule temper our remarks? \u00a0Or let the fear of mis-speaking keep us quiet?<\/p>\n

    I have not kept Your righteousness to myself, sealed up in the secret places of my heart;
    \ninstead, I boldly tell others how You save and how loyal You are.
    \nI haven\u2019t been shy to talk about Your love, nor have I been afraid
    \nto tell Your truth before the great assembly of Your people.
    \nPsalm 40:10 The VOICE<\/p>\n

    Let be and be still, and know (recognize and understand) that I am God.
    \nI will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth!
    \nPsalm 46:10 AMP<\/p>\n

    I will also speak of Your testimonies before kings And shall not be ashamed.
    \nPsalm 119:46 NASB<\/p>\n

    We should not be ashamed or afraid to exalt our Lord. \u00a0When we publicly acknowledge and praise Him, not only does it honor God, it encourages other to trust Him. \u00a0Instead of hiding His love in our hearts, let\u2019s shout it out. After all, it\u2019s all about Him.<\/p>\n

    I will shout for joy as I sing Your praises;
    \nmy soul will celebrate because You have rescued (ransomed) me.
