\nSpread Your protection over them that those who love Your name may rejoice in You.
\nFor surely, O LORD, You bless the righteous;
\nYou surround them with Your favor as with a shield.
\nPsalms 5:11-12 NIV<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The Apostle Paul said, \u201c\u2026our life is now hidden with Christ in God\u201d (Colossians 3:3). \u00a0Those who accept the Lord have a place of refuge beyond any other. \u00a0What is there to be happy about in this life? \u00a0I am with Christ! \u00a0I am hidden from Satan\u2019s accusations. God\u2019s desire is that the knowledge of this place of safety brings forth praise in our lives. \u00a0What a precious gift the Father has given us, to be hidden in Him. \u00a0God spreads His protection over those who love His name so that we will rejoice in Him. \u00a0He desires to be our joy, our source.<\/p>\n

The psalmist declares that the Father surrounds the righteous with \u2018…favor as a shield\u2019. \u00a0God has placed a protective shield around your life to keep you and to secure His purposes in you. \u00a0This shield is called the favor of the Lord. \u00a0When we live a life that is pleasing to God He has committed to making our way for us. \u00a0The very means of protecting your destiny is that God places favor on you. \u00a0It was said of our Lord Himself relating to His youth that He \u201cgrew in favor with both God and man\u201d (Luke 2:52). \u00a0This is the shield of the Lord.<\/p>\n

When others are going through economic shaking\u2014those who are hidden in the Lord can lean on this promise of favor being on our lives. \u00a0When the enemy seems to be gaining ground in the culture and it is harder and harder for the righteous to live in this age\u2014God can place favor on His saints. \u00a0Both Daniel and Joseph walked in the favor of the Lord. \u00a0Each was righteous in the midst of an unrighteous culture and the Lord set them apart with such favor that it protected them even in a foreign land and caused them to rise to the top in the midst of their trials. They lived under the blessing of Deuteronomy 28:13, \u201cThe LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u00a0 ~ \u00a0 \u2665 \u00a0 ~\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u271e\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0\u2665 \u00a0 ~ \u00a0*<\/span><\/p>\n

Father, we thank You for You are there for them that take refuge in You. \u00a0Your promises to us are \u2018Yes\u2019 and \u2018Amen\u2019 always as You say that You \u201cshall neither leave us nor forsake us.\u201d \u00a0We trust in Your Word. \u00a0Let us grow in the fear of You always as it is the beginning of our wisdom in all spheres of our lives…in Jesus\u2019 name we pray. \u00a0Amen!!<\/p>\n
